Dante Terrell Smith (born December 11, 1973 in Brooklyn, New York, United States), better known by the stage name Mos Def, is a Grammy Award-nominated rapper, an actor and a poet. He also goes by the aliases Mighty Mos Def, The Freaky Night Watchman, Boogie Man, Black Dante and Pretty Flaco. He began rapping in a group called Urban Thermo Dynamics in 1994, and then formed the duo Black Star with Talib Kweli in 1998.

Sabac Red is a former member of the <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/underground%20hip-hop" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">underground hip-hop</a> group <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Non+Phixion" class="bbcode_artist">Non Phixion</a>, born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. His family moved to Brooklyn, NY when he was 4 years old. Sabac began his journey into hip-hop as a b-boy and aspiring graffiti artist. At the age of 12 Sabac began exploring the art of emceeing. He would listen to the mix shows and memorize other MCs' lyrics. He would then make parodies of the song's using his own lyrics.
