Kano

There are two musical projects by the name of Kano -- one is a grime rapper, and the other is a classic italo-disco project. [1] Kane Brett Robinson (born 21 May 1985 in East Ham, Newham, London, England), better known as Kano, is a grime MC from East Ham, Newham, East London, and has gained wider attention after his debut album Home Sweet Home. His decision to make grime music, and eventually other types of music as well, was vindicated since, in his younger years, he was a promising footballer representing Chelsea F.

Scorcher

Scorcher (real name Tayo Jarrett) is a grime MC and producer from North London. He began his career in Cold Blooded where he became known for his 'shank' bars, and would regularly attend pirate radio and work his way up through the North London grime circuit. Scorcher had to serve a prison sentence for a short period of time in 2006, and while in jail his mixtape Simply The Best dropped and was greeted with good reviews from the grime scene. Many believe 2005 to mid 2006 was when Scorcher was at the peak of his ability as a grime MC, his bars from that time can be heard on Rinse Sessions.

Garage Pressure

Garage Pressure is made up of Farj and Paul. They are dubstep and grime dj/producers, hosting the Garage Pressure Show on FBI Radio (94.5 FM in Sydney, Australia) and weekly podcast. Maniac is known to be the name of six musical artists: Maniac, real name 'Brandon Jolie' is a grime producer from Bow, East London, and got his breakthrough in producing the track 'Bow E3', which was released on Wiley's third album 'Playtime Is Over'. He was brought to the attention of Wiley by God's Gift. He has made tracks for many MCs, including Wiley, Little Dee, Griminal, Riko, Tinchy Stryder, Asher D, Jammer, Kano, Chipmunk and JME.

Digital Mystikz

Digital Mystikz are dubstep producers from South London and, with Loefah, own the label DMZ and promote their own event of the same name. This takes place at the Mass in Brixton once every two months. Digital Mystikz are Mark Lawrence and D. Harris, also known as Mala and Coki. Although Loefah also releases on the label and performs back to back DJ sets with Mala of Digital Mystikz, he is not part of the group.

Benga

Benga (real name Adegbenga Adejumo) is a uk music producer from Croydon, and is part of the Big Apple Records label. Being inspired by Wookie and an associate of producer Skream, Benga released his debut 12", "Skank," in late 2002. A co-production with Skream called "The Judgement" appeared on Big Apple in early 2003, and also on "Dubstep Allstars Vol.1", mixed by Hatcha and then Benga began his own label — Benga Beats (benga.co.uk) — and released the three-track 12" Benga Beats, Vol.
