Hype Williams

Hype Williams, comprised of Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland, is named after the film maker responsible for Belly. Starring rappers Nas and DMX, it was a hyper-stylised, Nihilist mess and this London duo borrow its finer traits, its strut and loathing. From beneath a medicated haze they lace twanging Americana with seams of swaggering dread. They are Bobby Peru made music. The band's sound consists of very lo-fi, homegrown recordings incorporating hip-hop and '80s references—and the persona going along the band is equally as bricolaged as the tracks.

Phaeleh

Phaeleh – pronounced “Fella” In 2006, classically trained musician and electronic sound scientist Matt Preston was swept up in the wake of the Dubstep phenomenon. Phaeleh’s unique sound has garnered support from the scene’s leading artists, including Skream, N-Type, Scuba, Distance, Kryptic Minds, Oris Jay, RSD and Jakes to name but a few...

Voltaire Twins

Voltaire Twins - Jaymes and Tegan Voltaire have been making music since before either of them can remember, but it’s only in the last year that they’ve been actively writing together as the Voltaire Twins. Fusing 8-bit electro with nu-rave pop, the Voltaire Twins are an arpeggiated assault on the senses.
The Voltaire Twins are yet to release or even record anything more than a couple of rough bedroom demos, but they’ve already established one hell of a reputation for their energetic, sometimes unpredictable live performances.
