Eddie Halliwell is an English dance music DJ, from Wigan, England. Eddie has held residencies at Goodgreef and Gatecrasher, was named DJ of the year by mixmag in 2003 and reached number 17 in both the 2005 and 2006 DJ Mag Top 100 poll. As well as making a name for himself on the UK and international club circuit, Eddie is also a resident DJ for BBC Radio 1. Having been brought up in the north west of England, it is where Eddie made his name at clubs such as Gatecrasher and Goodgreef.

Let's start at the beginning, DJ Funk grew up on the musically rich West Side of Chicago where he was exposed at an early age to Chicago, New York & Detroit dance music. Developing from his early influences he started DJing out when he was just a teenager at house parties, school dances, and neighborhood clubs; selling mix tapes in the hood with his former crew "do or die" to make ends meet.

The xx are a trio formed in 2005 at London, England. The band members are Romy Madley Croft (vocals, lead guitar), Oliver Sim (vocals, bass guitar), and Jamie Smith (Jamie xx) (beats, MPC sampler). Second guitarist and keyboardist Baria Qureshi is no longer a member of the group. Bonding over a shared love of dark, emotive 80s guitar sounds and the high-end sheen of American R&B, The xx’s unique sound befits a band whose wide range of influences combine beautiful, hushed vocal duets and a brilliantly inventive use of samples and low-end frequencies to produce stark, sweet, melancholic pop.

Friendly Fires is a dancepunk band which formed in 2006 in St Albans, England. They consist of Ed MacFarlane (vocals), Edd Gibson (guitar) and Jack Savidge (drums). The band released their self-titled debut album on 1 September 2008. It contains the singles "Paris", "Jump in the Pool", and "Skeleton Boy", which is a rip off of Olive's 90s hit "You're Not Alone". Formed out of the ashes of First Day Back, the St Albans, United Kingdom hardcore band they formed while still at school, Friendly Fires make razor-sharp post-punk that burns through the memories of all the dismal...

Morgan Page

Growing up in a log cabin in rural Vermont, Morgan Page began composing electronic-oriented music at the age of 14. By 15, his work appeared on local college radio and commercial stations in his hometown of Burlington, and began to spread to other cities. Towards the end of high school, Morgan got his own radio show at The University of Vermont, filling in for a friend on a popular Saturday night slot. This turned into a weekly endeavor that introduced Morgan to the vast assortment of electronic music that came by the boxload every week.

She is the most famous DJ to come out of the Miami area. Not only does Robin Fox sing I see stars she also co-wrote the lyrics, but Robin Fox is the author for hundreds of other songs for other artists. I see stars is an original Trance Anthem on such stations as Music Choice. Fox lived in Tampa for three years and played in Orlando Florida as well as all the big Clubs in the Southern United states.

Esau Mwamwaya was born in Mzuzu in Malawi, East Africa. He grew up in the capital, Lilongwe, where he played drums in various bands such as Masaka Band. He was a good friend of the legendary Evison Matafale and they played together for several years before Matafale was killed in Malawi police custody in 2003. In 1999 Esau Mwamwaya moved to London, England has until recently run a second-hand furniture store in Clapton, East London.
