Boatfriends is Shanna Watson (vox/guitar), Zoë Bell (bass/drums/keys) and Fenton K (bass/drums/keys). before they were Boatfriends, they were house friends, sharing a post-war bungalow in Newcastle, NSW. they shared other things too: a pet rabbit, two skateboards between three, and big-time crush on bands like Cocteau Twins, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Cornelius, and My Bloody Valentine. Boatfriends played their first live show at a house party last new years eve. since then, they have shared the stage with Pumice (NZ), Oscar + Martin, Collarbones, Chet Faker and Grun, among a bunch of others.
