Hard Trance

A*S*Y*S

A*S*Y*S (Acid Save Your Soul), is the alias of German producer/DJ Frank Ellrich. Frank Ellrich has long been an icon of the hard edged scene, however it is his ability to evolve and remain at the very cutting edge that has seen him rise above many of his contemporaries- Frank is unquestionably hard dance royalty. Although cutting his teeth alongside Kai Tracid as part of the Tracid Traxxx mafia, Frank has since spread his wings aligning himself with the Straight On Black crew from Holland.

Artist Type:

Marcel Woods

Even though his star is rising exponentially, Dutch ‘bon vivant’ Marcel Woods really knows what it’s like to stay down to earth. With a respectable list of banging floor fillers to his credit Woods refuses repetition and is on a constant quest for new innovations. It is because of this attitude that he is in the same league as the greatest trance oriented DJs in the Netherlands. However, hating the confinement of being tagged, Woods therefore always thinks outside the box, leaving the techno and trance label far behind him.

Mark EG

Constantly searching for new sounds, original production talent and cutting edge club music, Mark EG is at the forefront of the UK's new music movement. But he refuses to be labeled. And this sometimes chameleon-like addiction to music has held Mark responsible not only for some of the most ground breaking releases in the hard techno world over the last few years (The Anxious), but also partly for the underground explosion of both hard trance and hardstyle through the UK.

At a young age he was surrounded by music; learning to play the piano and singing in the school choir and other youth choirs. His singing was quite successful, performing at the openings of some of Sydney’s most prestigious events as well as singing on albums. Dance music had always been a part of his life as his older siblings passed down the music that they so passionately listened to, the music that was heard throughout the clubs at the time.
