DJ Yoda

DJ Yoda (born Duncan Beiny) is a British hip-hop turntablist. Between 1995 and 1998 he studied English and American Literature at the University of Warwick. During this period he began performing at Mojo, a popular Warwick Hip hop and Soul night until he graduated. After he left university he began releasing underground demo mix-tapes to small music shops. Through the popularity of these tapes, Antidote Records asked him to create an official mixtape, from which 'How to Cut & Paste Mix Tape Vol.1' was released.

Theophilus London

Theophilus London is a Brooklyn, USA based hip hop artist with heavy electro influences. London released his debut mixtape JAM! in 2008. In 2009 he collaborated with Machine Drum for his second mixtape This Charming Mixtape which brought London to a wider audience. In 2010 London released the mixtape I Want You which features covers of classic songs. London's track Flying Overseas (featuring Devonté Hynes and Solange Knowles) enjoyed popularity with music bloggers in November 2010. He is diverse (has recorded with Urthboy, Bertie Blackman, The Bag Raiders, Gift Of Gab (Blackalicious), Katalyst, Braintax (UK), Georgia Anne Muldrow (USA), Muph and Plutonic etc), Prolific (EP "Bad Education", LP "Shock And Awe", two mixtapes) and renowned for his impressive live show (as seen at Big Day Out, Good Vibrations, Groovin The Moo, Sydney Festival etc).

Gorillaz

Gorillaz are a British virtual band formed in 1998 by a collaboration between Damon Albarn of Britpop band Blur and Jamie Hewlett, co-creator of the comic book Tank Girl. They had the idea to create the band while watching MTV in their London flat and originally intended to call the project Gorilla. The band is comprised of four fictional band members: 2-D (vocals, keyboard), Murdoc Niccals (bass), Noodle (guitar, vocals) and Russel Hobbs (drums). These characters only appear in animated form and are not alter-egos of real people, as is often mistakenly assumed.

Vents

Vents is an Adelaide (Australia) MC on the Obese label. Since his debut on Funkoars' 'Who's your Step Daddy' LP in 2003, Vents has since built monuments in the form of guest verses on Hilltop Hoods' 'Blue Blooded' track, Funkoars' remake of the Juice Crew classic 'The Symphony' and Hospice Crew's 'The Caution'. His album 'Hard To Kill' has been predominantly produced by Trials of Funkoars fame.
His lyrics check a lot of references to anarchism and Australian issues .

PE formed in Long Island, New York, in 1982 around a WBAU radio show as Spectrum City.

Cut Chemist

Cut Chemist is the performing name of Lucas MacFadden, a solo turntablist. He is a former member of the funk Latin band Ozomatli, and of the underground rap group Jurassic 5. He became known through the Los Angeles-based rap group Unity Committee, and debuted on vinyl on the B-Side of Unity Committee's 1993 single, Unified Rebelution. The track, "Lesson 4: The Radio" was an ovation of Double Dee and Steinski's seminal hip-hop masterpieces, "Lessons 1-3."

Kreayshawn

Natassia Gail Zolot, better known by her stage name Kreayshawn, born September 24, 1989 in Oakland, California, United States, is an American hip hop singer-songwriter and up-and-coming music video director who rose to fame in 2011 (but has been active since 2008) with the release of her single, "Gucci Gucci", a rap anthem describing Zolot's disdain for designer labels. According to the Gucci Gucci Songfacts, the video generated nearly three million views in its first three weeks and led to a $1 million recording contract with Columbia Records In June 2011.
