Obie Trice

Obie Trice is a rapper born in Detroit, Michigan, United States on November 14, 1977 to a single mother; Eleanor Trice. On October 5, 1998 he became the father of his only daughter, Kobie. He began rapping at the age of 11 and had a number of underground hits such as "Respect", "My Club", "Dope Jobs Homeless", and "The Well Known Asshole" before he signed to Shady Records in 2000. O.B. has been rapping for about 10 years in Sydney, and has now played across Australia. He was a mumbling presence alongside DJ A.L.F. at the legandary Joined at the Bass sessions at the Cricketer's Arms, until the Rum Corps (aka the NSW Police Force) and a yuppie shut down the live music one fateful Christmas eve. They could not, however, stop Alf and Ozi from forging a musical partnership that has taken them everywhere from dingy suburban pokie palaces, bush doofs, kiddiecore raves and the metro's stage.

Fast-forward to 2006 - Jan's talent behind the sound desk and his mastery of beats collide with Harry's musical genius to form the collaboration known as Jackson Jackson.

Technically, Rizzle Kicks was founded in about 1996, when both members, in their miniature form, used to play together, round Rizzle's aunties house. It wasn't until 8 years later when the pair re-found eachother, after both moving to Brighton and joining the local Sunday league, by facing eachother head-on in a football match. 4 years later, they ended up going to the same college, and one day when Rizzle got Sylvester to 'Lalala' all over a track, he then realised that the kind of style Sylvester had fitted in nicely with the sound that was growing.

(1) 2011, starting the year with a bang. Aged 20, Gemini 'Thomas Slinger' will make his mark on the dubstep scene with his debut EP 'Blue' on Inspected Recordings. Hitting dancefloors worldwide the 'Blue' EP is a blend of new and original material set to be a part of a unique driving force empowering electronic music to a new level. Currently in his final year at the University of Leeds with only months to go, Gemini is already working on his second EP entitled 'Graduation' set to drop Summer 2011.

Urthboy

Urthboy is an Australian MC, hailing from the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. He started out in the late 90s with the live hip-hop group Explanetary, alongside fellow MC Realistix, Elgusto (drums) and Luke Dubs (keys). The latter two went on to form Hermitude. He quickly became involved with the fledgling Elefant Traks label, as well as becoming a founding member of The Herd. Currently a director and label manager of Elefant Traks, Urthboy oversees much of the daily operations of the label, from A&R work to promotions, media and accounts.

Raekwon

(1995), hip-hop, once again, underwent a momentous transformation. To give an accurate analogy Cuban Linx is to albums what Scarface is to movies. In fact, this classic album, which went gold in three days moves from track to track like a film moves from scene to scene.
