The Sun Blindness

Perhaps the most psychedelically obsessed band since the 13th Floor Elevators, The Sun Blindness are a duo based in Melbourne, Australia. Formed in 2004, they play lush, dreamy, melodic , harmony driven psychedelia informed by bands such as Spacemen 3 and The Beach Boys. 2008 saw the release of their debut album 'Like Pearly Clouds' in Australia on September 13th, 2008 by indie label Sensory Projects/Inertia. After some financial delay, their second album, "Far Arden" will be released by Sensory Projects/Inertia in February 2010.

Elder

There are several artists with the name Elder: 1) Elder is 3 piece stoner doom band from Boston. Tristan Cooke
Tristan Cooke is a face that only needs to be introduced to those new on the circuit. He has been DJing for nearly 15 years, playing all over the world at places like New York, Brazil, Tokyo, Israel, Paris, Australia, South Africa, Zambia and many more. Deerhunter

Deerhunter is a band which formed in 2001 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The band consists of Bradford Cox (vocals, guitar, piano), Moses Archuleta (drums, synths), Lockett Pundt (guitar, organ, vocals) and Josh Fauver (bass, vocals). The group began with the ambition of fusing the lulling hypnotic states induced by ambient and minimalist music with the klang and propulsion of garage rock. The band has weathered chaotic line-up changes, the death of a member, and much discouragement.

In Tongues

1) In Tongues were a post-hardcore/screamo outfit out of Louisville, Kentucky featuring two members from Kodan Armada and formed immediately after the aforementioned bands demise. They only released two records before they split (a demo and a split 7" with lords). They were most active from 2005-2006 and finally anounced their breakup in early 2008. The guitarist is now in Prideswallower which other previous kodan armada members are in as well.
