But for 11 years (and counting) Busy P has been handling Ed Banger and Headbanger, his management/media company. Oddly though, Busy explained that the method behind starting Ed Banger Records was fairly straightforward. "I had no plan when I created Ed Banger records," he told us, "I just wanted to share what I've learnt with Daft Punk.

The Melodics

The Melodics are a cross genre band. They mess around with New wave, Synthpop, 2 Tone and Hip-Hop to create some damn fresh flavours... Crowds get down to it; they dance, they sing, they think and they get into Electro-Dionysian trances. Melodics play colourful music for a grey world. They have painted a fluorescent foundation across Australia selling thousands of EP's including The Glen Shnieblic EP and the Nought n' Crosses EP. They have played along side such acts as Dizzee Rascal, Lyrics Born, TZU and Jackson Jackson and have come out crowd favourites at festivals like Woodford.

Artist Type:

Russ Chimes

In a sea of postmodern hipsters come bedroom producers on a sparkling lilo of talent. Russ Chimes is a man from the UK who knows whats in the party. Sounding a bit like something halfway between a Sega game and an airbrushed mural of Wayfarer'd flamingos, Russ Chimes' tunes may at times elicit some degree of nostalgia, although the inherent quality definitley proves he's more about about doing what feels good rather than the irony. (in a manner perhaps akin to funk fanatics Chromeo).
