Asteroid B-612

Asteroid B-612 is the home of the Little Prince in Antoine de Saint-Exupery's children's story The Little Prince. No less than two bands have borrowed the name: 1. Punk, Sydney.
Formed in 1992 in Sydney and quickly became mainstays of the then-burgeoning Melbourne punk scene, sharing a sweaty Detroity rock aesthetic, as well as gigs, with bands like Hoss, Bored!, The Powder Monkeys and Seminal Rats. Have sporadically recorded and toured to a devoted fanbase ever since.

Martha Tilston

Martha Tilston is an English singer, songwriter and guitarist, currently based in Gloucestershire. Her music combines many aspects of English and Irish folk music with more modern acoustic styles, and perceptive lyrics combining personal subjects with political, social and environmental themes. She is the daughter of acclaimed songwriter Steve Tilston and step-daughter of singer Maggie Boyle, and began writing songs at an early age.

There are two bands named WILD FLAG: an American indie rock quartet, and a Japanese hard rock band. 1. WILD FLAG is a Portland, OR and Washington DC based quartet consisting of Carrie Brownstein, Mary Timony, Rebecca Cole, and Janet Weiss. She has recorded as a solo artist under the name PJ Harvey, but she began her career as part of a trio (with drummer Rob Ellis and bassist Steve Vaughan), also named PJ Harvey, in 1991 Early material released by the trio on Dry, 4 Track Demos and Rid Of Me was praised by critics for its raw lo-fi, many times acoustic guitar sound and melancholic, witty lyrics.

She was born in Sydney soon after her family returned from French-speaking Réunion where her parents had been missionaries. An original and largely self-reliant musical artist, Blasko is known for her writing and production skills, as well as her unique voice and stage presence. Blasko was first heard in the mid-1990s fronting Sydney band, Acquiesce, after an initial tour of France with founding members Dave Hemmings, Paul Camilleri, and her sister Kate Halcrow.

Their music is influenced by such artists as Björk, Craig Armstrong, Amon Tobin, Telefon Tel Aviv, Portishead and Lamb. They released two LP's: "Czy słyszysz?" (eng. Do you hear) in 2002 and "Zgadnij" (eng. Guess) in 2006. 2) Based in Charlotte, NC, Husky is made up of Mark Hadden (bass), Phil Strickland (guitar), and Nate Wilkinson (drums).

Missy Higgins (born Melissa Morrison Higgins on August 19, 1983, in Melbourne, Australia) is one of Australia's most popular female singer-songwriters. Missy (Melissa) was thrust into the limelight in her homeland when her sister entered Missy into a competition, which she won. The competition was conducted by the national alternative broadcaster, Triple J. Although she was still in high school, her song All For Believing quickly became one of the station's most requested tracks of 2001. In 2005, Missy took out 5 major ARIA Awards: Album of the Year (for The Sound Of White), Best Female Artist, Best Pop Release, Breakthrough Artist - Album (for The Sound Of White) and Highest Selling Album.
