A Genuine Freakshow

A Genuine Freakshow are a 7-piece pop-infused post-rock cannonade with mass appeal. Songs born of their broad range of influences from Elbow and Radiohead to Mew and Explosions In The Sky are accompanied by lush orchestral arrangements and the sincere falsetto vocals of Timothy Sutcliffe. This gives the music they create a blend of classic pop with unpredictable structures and epic climaxes reminiscent of The National or Sigur Rós.

Elder

There are several artists with the name Elder: 1) Elder is 3 piece stoner doom band from Boston. They have a self-titled full-length album released in 2008, a second full-length album titled "Dead Roots Stirring", released 2011, both on MeteorCity records, and a split CD with Hong Kong's Queen Elephantine on Concrete Lo-Fi Records. <a href="http://www.myspace.com/beholdtheelder" rel="nofollow">www.myspace.com/beholdtheelder</a> 2) Elder is a Screamo band from Philadelphia who combine soft/hard and quiet/loud dynamics to build epic Screamo songs. The Silent World

The Silent World are an instrumental quintet from Perth, Western Australia. Equally inspired by experimental post-rock, noise and new wave, the band's sound has evolved considerably over its brief history, refined through a series of demo recordings and intense live shows. The past year has seen The Silent World share the stage with local experimental heavyweights Tangled Thoughts of Leaving and Eleventh He Reaches London, represent UWA in the National Campus Bands Competition and go on to play in the State Final alongside some of Perth's finest young bands after only a handful of shows

Russian Circles is a three piece instrumental post-rock/post-metal band from Chicago. The band plays epic, sprawling music which runs the gamut of heavy discordant metal to soft delicate passages. They are also known for their energetic live shows, which include tours with Tool, Red Sparowes, Minus the Bear and Daughters, as well as appearances at the 2006, 2007 & 2008 SXSW festivals.
