Pariah

There are a number of artists/bands under the name of Pariah. 1. Pseudonym of London, UK based dubstep/future garage producer Arthur Cayzer who has released a single, Detroit Falls, and an EP, Safehouses on the legendary dance label R&S Records. He has also provided licensed remixes for media darlings The xx and illustrious RnB/Soul vocalists Erykah Badu and Brandy. Cayzer has been gaining vocal supporters such as BBC Radio 1 DJ and electronic music evangelist Mary Anne Hobbs and contributed a mix to her show.

Dark Sky(Germany) have been founded as a school band in the very early 80's in the South German city of Rottweil. There is more than one artist called "Deadboy" Based in London, Deadboy is an underground Dj and producer. His sound is part of the new "UK Funky" movement, with the goal of reviving the 2-step scene, which died out in the early 2000s. Reminiscent of the sound of 2-step UK Garage, Deadboy incorporates R&B vocals into his songs which are fresh along with elements of funky house. Manchester-based producer xxxy (born Rupert Taylor) is known for refining the propulsive, foot-forward sound of UK garage. Currently he's signed to various labels. Over the past year he has been quietly building a solid reputation with milestone releases on Infrasonics and Fortified Audio, as well as featuring on the seminal Fabric compilation "Elevator Music". With further releases set to come on labels such as Doc Daneeka's Ten Thousand Yen and Well Rounded, and a host of UK and European shows - it's little doubt that xxxy will leave a lasting impression on the UK underground.

Lapalux

Sounds move with curious steps in the music of Lapalux, the solo project of Essex's Stuart Howard. His IDM and hip-hop influenced beat collages unfold like individual short stories, their layered tones playing into your emotions. The thud of bass pulses throughout his tracks, a steady stream of heartbeats that rise in and fall reaction to the excitement, the trepidation and the moments of calm reflection set by the marriage of vocal samples and experimental beatmaking.

Debut single out on Moshi-Moshi Records in september. 2) On their previous tour, Disclosure arrived in Newport News, Va, 4 1/2 hours from home to learn that their show had been cancelled. Here, most bands would have called it a day, but instead they frantically called friends to search for shows via myspace. They ended up playing for free and headlining a show in Richmond, Va. This is just one of many stories that showcase Disclosure's dedication.

Dro Carey

Born Perth, Western Australia 1992 Currently in Sydney, New South Wales Dro Carey debuted with a limited vinyl release on Will Bankhead's label The Trilogy Tapes in December 2010, an EP called Venus Knock. Since then the 19 year-old was named as one of the top ten producers to watch in 2011 by FACT Magazine, was included in esteemed UK selector Ben UFO's Rinse mix series entry, and has collaborated with the former Roll Deep member Trim.
