There are 4 bands named Dark Earth. After seemingly disappearing for 4 years, everything that DARK EARTH brought to the metal scene was all but forgotten; heavy melodic riffs, ball-tearing blast beats, blistering guitar solos & a TIGHT live show.
During the time DE were absent, the boys came to realise that the normal "house, wife & kids" road of life wasn't going to work for them, they needed something more...

By taking the low end guitar heavy elements of stoner rock and merging it with a keen ear for a catchy hook Don Fernando are showing that heavy music can be combined with a pop sensibility to create something unique and exciting, the music is heavy, the guitars are about as loud as you could possibly imagine and their gigs will leave you planted firmly on your arse while humming their melodies and lamenting lost love.

Church of Misery is a japanese doom metal band with a specific extra-groovy sound that is often described as "stoner doom" but the band tends to snub this term saying "We hate trend. We hate corporate attitude. We hate the word 'stoner'. Death to false stoners!! Let there be DOOM!!" (citation from the Master of Brutality album cover artwork notes).
Band was formed in 1996 in Tokyo by bassist Tatsu Mikami (ex-Salem) and guitarist Tomohiro Nishimura, line-up was completed with singer Nobukazu Chow and drummer Hideki Shimizu.

Since the creation of this band it’s been about the love of stoner rock and fun. We love Kyuss, we love chilling out and we love groovin’. After a few line up changes we've gotten together what we believe to be a strong musical force. Since acquiring a new singer, we've recorded a five track EP entitled, Stay For Tea. For the fans of fat tones, pounding drums and groovin' bass this should be pleasing to the ear.
