By taking the low end guitar heavy elements of stoner rock and merging it with a keen ear for a catchy hook Don Fernando are showing that heavy music can be combined with a pop sensibility to create something unique and exciting, the music is heavy, the guitars are about as loud as you could possibly imagine and their gigs will leave you planted firmly on your arse while humming their melodies and lamenting lost love.

Monster Magnet is an American stoner metal/stoner rock band, often cited as one of the most successful and influential in the genre. Hailing from Red Bank, New Jersey, the group was founded by Dave Wyndorf (vocals and guitar), John McBain (guitar), Tom Diello (drums), and Tim Cronin (vocals and bass). The band first went under the name "Dog of Mystery" and later "Airport 75", before finally settling on "Monster Magnet".

The band was originally formed in 1989 in Palm Desert, California under the name "Sons of Kyuss". They took the name from a monster in Dungeons and Dragons.
Pod People is an Australian doom metal band from Canberra. Their sound combines doom/stoner metal with death metal vocals. They have released three EPs, one album and one 7". Pod People have opened for the likes of doom masters Electric Wizard and Cathedral. The band recorded a new album over the later half of 2007 and early 08 and are looking to release their next album "Mons Animae Mortuorum" (Mountain of the Souls of the Dead) through Goatsound in Australia in August 2008 and hopefully Rise Above internationally.
