Katie Noonan

Over the last two years Katie Noonan and her new band ‘The Captains’ ( Cameron Deyell – guitar, Stu Hunter – keys/bass, Declan Kelly – drums) have been building a vessel of exciting new songs. A return to form for Katie, this band sees the songstress sailing towards a more beloved lush and organic sound with her trademark strong and inspired personal stories. Katie has co-written songs with a host of Anzac luminaries including Tim Finn, Don Walker, Sia Furler, Josh Pyke, Tom Shapcott and her fellow ‘Captains’ band mates.

Orianthi

It was November 2005, when Orianthi stepped off a plane from Japan where she had been performing for PRS Guitars. She received a call that one of her all-time idols, Carlos Santana had spoken about her during an interview on Australian television earlier that morning. She had to hop on another waiting plane to her hometown, Adelaide before she could see the footage. It was the longest two hour flight.

Olivia Newton-John

Born in Cambridge, England in1948, the youngest child of Professor Brin Newton-John and Irene, daughter of Nobel Prize winning physicist, Max Born, Olivia moved to Melbourne, Australia with her family when she was five. By the age of fifteen, she had formed an all-girl group called Sol Four. Later that year she won a talent contest on the popular TV show, “Sing, Sing, Sing,” which earned her a trip to London.

Kelendria Trene Rowland (born February 11, 1981) is an American R&B singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, and five-time Grammy award winner who rose to fame as one of the founding members of the very successful R&B girl group Destiny's Child. After a series of commercially successful releases with the group and a worldwide number-one success with rapper Nelly and their Grammy-winning single "Dilemma", Rowland released her debut solo album Simply Deep in 2002.

Eiffel 65

Eiffel 65 is an Italian eurodance group, formed by producers/composers Jeffrey Jey (also vocals), Maurizio Lobina and Gabry Ponte. All three members are from the city of Turin (Italy). The name of the group came from a random word generator that produced the word "Eiffel". The "65" was added as a mistake: part of a phone number scribbled on a demo by accident. Their greatest worldwide success came with their first single "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" from their 1999 album Europop.

Third Eye Blind

Third Eye Blind is a post-grunge, alternative rock band formed in the mid 1990s in San Francisco, California. The original members were Stephan Jenkins (singer, songwriter, electric guitar), Kevin Cadogan (guitar), Adrian Burley (drums), and Jason Slater (bass guitar). The band's original line-up changed several times before the release of the group's debut album, and again shortly after the release of the band's second album Blue — at which point the band's main guitarist Kevin Cadogan was released from the band under circumstances that still elicit controversy among fans.
