Treebeard

Treebeard have been a popular attraction on the pub, festival & beer festival circuit for many years now, with regular appearances at Sheffield, Derby, Tamworth, Newark, Stockport, Lincoln, Stoke & Barnsley festivals, as well as Earls Court for the Great British Beer Festival, and the Cropredy fringe. In 2017 the band played at Rockstock & Barrel, Holmfirth Folk Festival, Altrincham, Marlpool & Hope Valley Beer Festivals, Sheffield's Sharrow & Peace in the Park Festivals, Worrall, Festival8, Farmer Phil's, Solfest, Tramlines, Lancaster and Whitwell Festivals.

The band play lively Celtic folk-rock; traditional & original songs & tunes on a variety of acoustic instruments, always guaranteed to get an audience up & dancing.

They describe their style as 'Heavy Wood', releasing a first CD of that name in 2002, and a second CD 'Reel Ale’ in 2010. Their video for 'Over The Hills' has won the runner up prize in the 2 weeks 2 make it filmmaking competition 2011, as well as attracting over 220,000 youtube views.

The band have been through a number of line-up changes over the years and are currently led by founder member Chris McMahon (of Haze, Strongheart, Silverwheel, Outlandish Knights, etc), with long time flautist/fiddler Ceri Ashton (Cadellin, Mother of Crows, Jabberwocky, Outlandish Knights), and new members; percussionist James Howe (Bellhagg Orkestar, Silver Darlings), singer/songwritier Rob Lowdon (Jabberwocky, Broadsword) and singer/guitarist Paul Pearson.

Kandalini

Kandalini are a rock 'n’ roll band from Melbourne, Australia. Playing their first shows in 2017, Johnny Foti is on drums; vocals and guitars come from Dale Mamo. The band has been through a handful of iterations, initially and occasionally as a two piece until 2019 when Scott Gulbis joined on bass. Adam Buttigieg joined the band after guest guitarring on a couple of songs at Max Watts in April, 2021. Despite the Mediterranean influence, Kandalini is not a pasta, although we do hope to collaborate with Barilla someday to make this dream a reality.

With two DIY singles behind them, ‘A Song Called Pain’ and ‘A Lot Like You’, the band finally relented to the untenable pull of musical validation from consumers, critics, and peers alike – and hit the studio. The result of which has been thwarted by a barrage of pandemic related wizardry not limited to lockdowns, breakdowns, and feeling down. The band released a pair of singles as a direct consequence of this studio session, with the first track 'Wire Mother' released May 25, 2022, and It's OK to Change Your Mind on Oct 27, 2022. IOKTCYM was supported with four launch shows and a music video.

Their sound is highly influenced by the grunge wave of the late 80s and 90s, and subsequent bands, especially early Foo Fighters. Bands like At the Drive-in, the Nation Blue, Babes in Toyland, Rise Against, Fugazi, and Queens of the Stone Age, also directly inspired their energy and musicality. Their aim is the seemingly universal one - to combine interesting and innovative music with meaningful, intentional, and relatable songs.

Their sound continues to be refined by the influence of contemporary artists like Clowns, Bad//Dreems, Horror My Friend, Dilly Dally, Mod Con, WAAX, ’68, and an ever-expanding conglomerate of emerging and historic artists.

Kandalini are looking for any regional and interstate musical opportunities.

In the spirit of reconciliation Kandalini acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Enola

ENOLA, the solo project of Ruby Marshall (They/Them), infuses hard hitting tracks with a stinging vulnerability, applying the salve to the self-inflicted wound. With an instinctual understanding of the balance between heightened drama and grimy reality, ENOLA is simultaneously screaming from the roof tops and digging their nails into the cracks of the pavement.

Their raw post-punk is underpinned by a background in electronic production, melded with the grunge and shoe gaze ever present in their home base of Naarm/Melbourne. In the same vein as Shame and Fontaines DC, ENOLA traverses boundless plains musing on isolation and in search of catharsis. Poignant and uninhibited, their vocals are a punch in the gut, leaving a familiar pang felt in the most unexpected ways.

Having supported the likes of RVG, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever and Divide and Dissolve all in the last six months, ENOLA has made a name for themselves as one of the most exciting live acts in the country.

God Is An Astronaut

God Is an Astronaut are an Irish post-rock band from County Wicklow, formed in 2002 by Niels and Torsten Kinsella. Their style employs elements of electronic music, krautrock, and space rock, reminiscent of Tangerine Dream. They have released eleven studio albums to date.

The band was formed in 2002 by twin brothers Niels and Torsten Kinsella, who took the inspiration for its name from a quote in the movie Nightbreed. God Is an Astronaut's debut album, The End of the Beginning, was released in 2002 on the Revive Records label, which is independently owned by the band. The album was intended to be a farewell to the industry. Two music videos, for "The End of the Beginning" and "From Dust to the Beyond", both produced by the band, received airplay on MTV UK and other MTV Europe networks.

GIAA consider each of their albums to be a sonic "photograph or snapshot of who we are in that moment of time". In mid-2006, a licensing deal with U.K. label Rocket Girl saw both an EP, called A Moment of Stillness, and their second album, All Is Violent, All Is Bright, being re-released.

The band's third album, Far from Refuge, was released in April 2007 on Revive Records and as a download via their website. Their fourth, the self-titled God Is an Astronaut, came out on 7 November 2008. On 12 February 2010, a single was released on the band's website, titled "In the Distance Fading", the second song from their fifth album, called Age of the Fifth Sun, released on 17 May 2010. That year, the band became a quartet, with keyboardist/guitarist Jamie Dean joining.

God Is an Astronaut performed at the Eurosonic Festival in 2012, when Ireland was the "Spotlight Country".

The band's sixth full-length album, Origins, was released in 2013. They then went on tour, performing in places such as China, Russia, Brazil, and Europe.[citation needed]

In June 2015, the band's seventh full-length album, Helios | Erebus, was released.

In 2018, GIAA published Epitaph, their eighth full-length studio album.

In February 2021, the band released Ghost Tapes#10 on Napalm Records.

In June 2024, GIAA announced their eleventh album, Embers, and released the first single, "Falling Leaves". The album came out on 6 September.

AUTOMATIC (USA)

Automatic is a rock band from Los Angeles. Automatic’s members are Izzy Glaudini (synths, vocals), Halle Saxon (bass, vocals), and Lola Dompé (drums, vocals).
The three band members met while immersed in L.A.’s DIY music scene and started playing live in 2017, taking their name from the track "Automatic" from The Go-Go's album Beauty and the Beat.[4] The group signed to Los Angeles label Stones Throw in June 2019.[5]

Dompé is the daughter of Bauhaus drummer Kevin Haskins[6] and joined her first band, art-rock outfit Blackblack, when she was 13.[7]

The band put out two more singles, a cover of Delta 5's "Mind Your Own Business"[8] and title track "Signal", before releasing the album on 27 September 2019. Pitchfork described Signal as "an exercise in post-punk and no-wave galvanism".[9] The band released Signal Remixes on 26 March 2021, which included reworks from artists such as Peanut Butter Wolf, Sudan Archives, Peaking Lights, Osees' John Dwyer and Bauhaus' Kevin Haskins.[10]

On 8 March 2022, Automatic announced their new album Excess with their first single "New Beginning". Stereogum described "New Beginning" as "’60s pop kitsch".[11] The group followed it up with their second single "Venus Hour"[12] on 7 April 2022. Excess was released on 24 June 2022 on Stones Throw.
