Jarrow

In March 2016, Melbourne-based singer/songwriter Dan Oke (AKA Jarrow) quietly uploaded his debut album to Bandcamp. Months later, Jarrow was picked up by indie label Barely Dressed, eventually earning his band festival slots and support gigs with the likes of Car Seat Headrest and The Wombats. We caught up with Dan fresh off the release of his second album, Expensive Hugs to talk about his inspirations, lyric writing and the process of collaboration.

Burning Grace

Burning Grace is an ethereal and captivating singer/songwriter from Melbourne. Audiences of varying ages and backgrounds have found solace in her soaring vocals and folk/soft rock music which continues to be a safe place for sensitive souls speaking upon themes related to love/loss and healing past trauma. Burning Grace has been heard nationally and internationally (Triple J, Southern FM, JOYFM, SYN etc.) in which her music videos appeared on both CMT and MTV Australia whilst having also received an honourable mention award from the Berlin Music Video Awards in 2024 for Her recent music video "Magic Woman”.

Burning Grace has recently returned home to Melbourne after playing a run of shows in the UK and also performed at the famous “Ruby Sessions” in Dublin. The singer is keeping the fire alight and is ready to take the stage at the esteemed Wesley Anne on the 21st of November to celebrate her new release “We’re On Fire” which was recorded in Liverpool this year with producer Joe Sage

Maggie Alley

Maggie Alley

Maggie Alley’s is a singer songwriter from Melbourne Victoria and is currently based in the Dandenong ranges.

Her songs come from the flawed feminine, her narrative lyrics drawn from experience in the world, absorbed consciously and unconsciously. Alley’s two digital EPs (Beasts, and Live at the Brunswick Ballroom) have gained strong community radio and ABC airplay, with devastating vocal performances described as “banshee like”.
ABC Radio compared her to “a young Patti Smith” at just 19.

Now at 21, Maggie still Draws inspiration from influences as diverse as Kate Bush, David Bowie, Amy Winehouse, Townes Van Zandt and The Triffids. Her music is infused with something felt, not just heard.
