Sneaky Sound System

Sneaky Sound System is a Sydney-based dance/pop outfit featuring Black Angus, MC Double D and Miss Connie. The band has enjoyed considerable success on the Australian charts with hits "I Love It", "Pictures", "UFO" and "Kansas City", and have toured with the likes of Robbie Williams, Jamiroquai, Sam Sparro, and the Scissor Sisters. Miss Kittin

Miss Kittin (real name Caroline Hervé) is an electro vocalist and DJ. She was born in Grenoble, France in 1973. At age 22 she began DJing, spinning records in France, Moscow and Chicago with Mike Dearborn. Soon after she met DJ Hell in Marseille who wanted her to record for his International DeeJay Gigolos label. She presented him with the EP Champagne that she recorded with The Hacker. Miss Kittin & The Hacker released First Album in 2001. Several tracks, such as 1982 and Frank Sinatra, became anthems of the electroclash scene.

Freestylers

The Freestylers formed in 1996 when DJs and dance music producers Matt Cantor, Aston Harvey and (initially) Andrew Galea joined forces. All three of them had been involved in the British dance music scene since the 1980s. Cantor had recorded as Cut n' Paste and Strike with Andy Gardner (Plump DJs). Aston Harvey recorded as Blapps! Posse best known for the 1990 breakbeat dance hit "Don't Hold Back" before working with Definition of Sound, Rebel MC and DJ Rap (as DJ Rap and Aston). Harvey joined with Galea under the name Sol Brothers before Cantor was recruited to form the Freestylers.

Grum

Real Name: Graeme Shepherd. Scottish Electro/ Disco House/ French Pop artist from Leeds, UK. His debut album 'Heartbeats' was released on 17 May 2010 on Heartbeats Music. This was preceded by the lead single "Can't Shake This Feeling" on 7 May 2010. He has also released EPs titled Runaway, Heartbeats and Sound Reaction. He names his main influences as The Human League and Daft Punk. Shepherd grew up in Linlithgow, near Edinburgh and then moved to Leeds in 2004 to study a Music Technology course in nearby Huddersfield.

Chromeo

Chromeo is an electrofunk duo based in Montreal, Canada and New York City. They are P-Thugg, on keyboards, synthesizers and talk box, and Dave 1 (David Macklovitch) on guitar and lead vocals. The two were best friends since childhood and officially formed the band in 2002. They describe themselves as the only successful Arab/Jewish collaboration since the beginning of time. David Macklovitch is currently earning his Ph.D in French literature from Columbia University, where he also teaches undergraduate French classes.

Syntax

At least three artists share the name Syntax: 1) "Syntax" are a London based electronic duo formed by MIKE TOURNIER and Jan Burton in 2002. Mike Tornier is well known for his work as a 'groove technician' with 90s electronica setup "Fluke". Jan Burton (vocals), influenced by bands like "The Doors" and "Pink Floyd", calls himself 'Mr Five Piece Band and Guitars.' The first single "Pray" (2002) made top 30, was a dancefloor smasher and was leading them to a contract with the Illustrious label.

Northcape

Northcape is the ongoing work of a British artist, and can broadly be described as downtempo melodic electronica. Northcape self-released his first CD in 2005, following this with a second independent release ('Detach') in 2007 and an EP ('Some Bright Valley') on the monotonik netlabel. Northcape's latest album is Captured From Static, released by Sun Sea Sky Productions on April 6th 2010. The aim is to express ideas and evoke environments, landscapes and memory rather than to focus on the technology and techniques used.

NERVO are Mim and Liv Nervo. Twin sisters; soulmates and soon to be superstars. They emerged as hit songwriters; Kesha to Kylie; Guetta & Rowland; Pussycat Dolls and more. They've remixed Katy Perry, 30 Seconds to Mars, Cobra Starship, and have topped club charts worldwide. Since landing a deal with Virgin America/Astralwerks as artists, they have been working on their debut album - where they not only write and produce but will step into the spotlight and perform.
