Oh Mercy

Oh Mercy are a band from Melbourne, Victoria that formed in 2006. Alexander Gow and Thomas Savage, the duo at the heart of Oh Mercy, blend evocative and intelligent lyricism with a strong pop sensibility on their debut album Privileged Woes, showcasing the depth of the young songwriters polished pop brilliance. Following on from their successful debut EP ‘In The Nude For Love’, ‘Privileged Woes’ was recorded in the spare room, the size of a single bed, by Myles Wootton (The Panics) - the band literally had to put the mattress against the wall to record.

2) British experimental electronic instrumental 1) Signals is an instrumental project lead by former BLANKEY JET CITY and current PONTIACS bassist 照井利幸 (Terui Toshiyuki). In addition to writing all of the band’s tunes, Terui plays acoustic guitar. The other two members are 椎野恭一 (Kyōichi Shiino) on drums and 勝井祐二 (Katsuki Yūji) on violin. The first Signals album, Lapis Sky, was the first material to be produced by WELD MUSIC CHAMBER.

Yukon Blonde is: Jeff Innes (Guitar, Vocals), Brandon Scott (Guitar, Vocals), Graham Jones (Drums, Vocals). Old friends of long stretches of highway and sleeping on floors, the band set-out, in the fall of 09, for a 37-date tour across Canada including POP Montreal, Halifax POP Explosion and CMJ, picking up rave reviews along the way. The tour ended - almost two months later - with a triumphant return to their original home town of Kelowna on November 8th 2009.
