The Black Sorrows
The Black Sorrows is a blues-oriented Australian rock band that carries strong influences from zydeco, country and hillbilly music. The band formed in 1983 around singer-songwriter Joe Camilleri in the wake of his principal band Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons dissolution. The band has played host to a revolving lineup of musicians with Camilleri the only constant. The band initially played covers until producing originals, some of which saw moderate Top 40 success during the 80s and 90s ("Chained to the Wheel, Hold on to Me.") The band played on before laying dormant in 2004, reviving in 2008 to release a triple-album. Read more on Last.fm. While The City Sleeps
While The City Sleeps are a 5 piece band from Melbourne, Victoria.
Forming in May 09' the boys went straight to work to try and create their own sound and style.
With the release of a 5 track demo shortly after, and an amazing EP following, WTCS have made a strong name for themselves within the local scene.

Walter Gross and Bizzart form Screwtape. An experiment in lost and found sound and noises and samples of some of the weirdest and just most obscure shit I've ever heard. But one thing I've learned about Walter Gross and one thing I've trained myself to do, is to listen to the beats and melodies he hears in his head, and when you break down those walls that tell you what you're listening to is just noise, you'll hear it too.

White Woods
There are at least two artists with the name White Woods. 1. A band from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Formed in 2008 with Pat Breen, Kelly Brown, K Mason, Stuart Campbell, and Emma Sharp, all relocated from Hobart, Tasmania. White Woods have one self released split single recorded with Dan Cross and have recorded a full length album, Bellplay, to be released in June 2010 through Sensory Projects (www.sensoryprojects.com.au).

Front End Loader
Based in Sydney, Australia, Front End Loader are self-described as "Australia's least popular, relatively well known band". Formed in 1991 FEL have always been a difficult band to categorize. Undeniably a hard rock band, they have avoided the traditional tattoos and hair of hard rock and as musicians, they tend closer to cock or math rock without the earnestness. Front End Loader have been supported by the likes of Regurgitator, The Superjesus and Shihad plus many others. They have a reputation for ferocious live performances and not holding their collective tongue.

James Blundell
James Blundell (born December 8, 1964) is an Australian country music singer. Blundell's first album, in 1989, was a self-titled effort, followed up by "Hand It Down", which was released in the United States in 1990 following its success in Australia.
Successive albums were This Road and Touch of Water. This Road included the hit "Way Out West", with James Reyne.
Since, Blundell has released several more albums, each meeting with more success than the last.

The Art
Hailing from NEWTOWN, Australia, The Art has busted down the doors of the rock scene by performing with the likes of Marilyn Manson, Sonic Youth, and NIN. After Touring America, their most current Aussie dates brought them home to Big Day Out and allowed them to share a stage with Them Crooked Vultures. Having recently completed recording their debut album in Austin, Texas with Chris "Frenchie" Smith (Jet, Trail Of The Dead, Dandy Warhols), they have returned home to join the Pixies on their Australian/New Zealand tour.
