Avalanche

There are 14 bands under the name Avalanche. 1.) Avalanche is Polish rock band. In this band plays: Bartosz Słatyński (vocal / guitar / fiddle), Michał Gołuchowski (bass), Tomek Gołuchowski (guitars), Sebastian Boba (drums). They have released 1 record: "Połączenie" in 2006. 2.) Avalanche is also a Norwegian popduo.
Kirsti Johansen (lead vocals / backing vocals), Kjetil Roesnes (Lead vocals / keyboards / guitars / programmings). They have released 2 albums: Avalanche (1990) and Westbound (1992). They are now recording their new AVALANCHE album, planned to be released 2006.

Mercury Sky

Mercury Sky is a new project involving long-time musical partners, guitarist Keiren Lovett and drummer Keiran Berry, who found singer/guitarist Austin Uebel and bassist Tim Chambers fresh from other musical projects. Their aim is to combine the love of original music and its complexities within their instruments with the simplicity and wide appeal of rock music to create what could be best called progressive rock/alternative rock, inspired by bands like Incubus, A Perfect Circle and Karnivool.

Engine Three Seven

Since relocating to Melbourne almost 2 years ago, Engine Three Seven have well and truly cemented themselves as one of Melbourne's foremost rock acts.
Drawing from their Byron Bay roots, and combining unique prog-rock, their live show has seen E37’s fan base explode both in Melbourne and interstate. The band is currently recording their 2nd record with producer Jarrad Hearman (Mammal, Trial Kennedy) and mixing extraordinaire Forrester Savell (The Butterfly Effect, Karnivool).

Bahamas

1) Bahamas is Afie Jurvanen, and for the last many years he's been playing other people's music-- PasoMino, Great Lake Swimmers, The Stills, Howie Beck, Amy Millan, Jason Collett, Hayden and zeus. He's spent the last few years playing piano and guitar with Feist. He walks with a strange and haunted gait, due to a horrible knee injury suffered while on tour, and it's rumored that this might be what led to the appalling "shorts on stage" incident. No photos of the crime have surfaced and the indie rock police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Todd Rundgren

Todd Rundgren is an American singer, songwriter, and producer who started in the 60s with the psychedelic band Nazz in Philadelphia. His solo career started out successfully with such hits as I Saw The Light and Hello It's Me (which was a reworked Nazz tune). He formed a band called Utopia (or Todd Rundgren's Utopia) which concentrated on eccentric progressive epics, while also continuing to release solo albums. His production work started early, with work for Sparks, The New York Dolls, and continued with Meat Loaf, XTC and The Psychedelic Furs, and many others.

2) A U.S. based experimental rock trio (1996-present).
1) Since their inception more than 15 years ago Dreadnaught have established themselves as a cornerstone for Australian heavy rock audiences. The city Dreadnaught call home, Melbourne Australia, has spawned several “next big things” over the last decade.

FRACTAL

There are several bands with the name (Fractal): 1) Most of the tracks you can play here are from the instrumental debut CD Continuum, released in 2003 by the San Jose CA based progressive rock band Fractal. Their website is www.fractal-continuum.com. Fractal were formed in 2000 with a strong early influence from mid-late period King Crimson, and have since developed a unique sound, often using complex time signatures. In 2008, they are finalizing the recording of their second full CD. A single track from this CD "Aftermath" was pre-released in 2007.

Blonde On Blonde

There are at least three bands who perform under the name Blonde On Blonde: a) Blonde on Blonde was a guitar-led psychedelic rock group from South Wales. The band was originally formed in Newport in 1967 by vocalist/guitarist Ralph Denyer, drummer Les Hicks, bassist/organist Richard Hopkins and guitarist/sitar player Gareth Johnson. Even though they enjoyed strong reviews from music critics and achieved massive exposure playing before gigantic crowds at the 1969 Isle of Wight festival, they never managed to generate much in the way of sales. They disbanded in early 1972.

There are several artists using this name. 1. An alternative Indie-Pop band from Cork, Ireland. The five-piece group are renowned for their distinctive style and energetic, charming live performances. Their third album 'Go God Go' was released in Ireland in June 2008, to great critical acclaim and has also received mass exposure on the national airwaves. It is also available in Canada through a licensing deal forged with Toronto-based indie label Sparks Music. A US release is scheduled for 2009.
