El Guincho

El Guincho is Pablo Díaz-Reixa, a native of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria living in Barcelona, Spain. Also a member of Coconot, Díaz-Reixa rose to prominence with his 2007 album, Alegranza. His musical style relies heavily on the use of sampling and incorporates elements of afrobeat, dub, tropicália and rock.

Lopaka

Lopaka is a super-groovy bunch of dudes from the ex-band, My Cat Drinks Tap Water, who wanted to make math music. Their original attempts at such were futile and full of short comings.
As such, the 3 young men attempting this feat parted ways briefly to each undergo their own spiritually revealing journey. On said journeys, the men discovered the root of their being and unlocked the infinite potential of their creativity and understanding of their surroundings.

Cola Wars

Cola Wars is a contemporary pop-rock ensemble from Chicago, Illinois, in the United States of America. We use amplified string instruments, 8-bit synthesizers, standard rock drum configuration (SRDC), and the male vocal chords to produce experimental data concerning the generation of physiological and psychological movement in both public and private environments. Current staff have held appointments with such Chicago organizations as Millimeters Mercury, The Planck Length, Starlister, Mucca Pazza, and Zinc Finger and the Major Groove.

Battles

Battles is an American experimental rock band that formed in New York City in 2002. The group is composed of drummer John Stanier (formerly of Tomahawk and Helmet), guitarist/keyboardist Ian Williams (formerly of Don Caballero and Storm & Stress), guitarist Dave Konopka (formerly of Lynx), and, until August 2010, guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Tyondai Braxton (son of Avantgarde Jazz musician Anthony Braxton).

TV On The Radio

TV on the Radio is a Brooklyn, New York, USA-based band that was formed in 2001. Their music is difficult to classify and is often described as art rock or post-punk, but is educated by a diverse spectrum of styles including freeform jazz and a cappella music, psychedelia and trip-hop, modern soul and classic '90s indie rock, giving them a unique and original sound. The core members are Tunde Adebimpe (vocals, loops), David Andrew Sitek (guitars, keyboards, loops) and Kyp Malone (vocals, guitars, loops), but the band is accompanied by additional members when performing live.

Astro

There are at least seven artists/band that go by the name Astro. The first is a 'space-noise' project by Hiroshi Hasegawa (C.C.C.C., Astromero, Astral Travelling Unity, Senssurround Orchestra, YBO²). The second is a new Korean R&B group formed in early August, 2009, consisting of 1 male vocal, 1 female vocal, and 2 rappers.

Bridezilla

Bridezilla are a young band from Sydney, Australia, signed to the Inertia Recordings label. The band has released a self titled EP, a split 7" single with Tren Brothers, and their debut album, titled 'The First Dance', was released on November 7th, 2009. Formed in 2005, the band members: Holiday Sidewinder (lead vocals, guitar), Pia May (guitar), Millie Hall (saxophone, keyboard), Daisy Tulley (violin) and Josh Bush (drums).
