Mix Master Mike

Mix Master Mike (born April 4, 1970 [1]) is an American turntablist of Jewish and Filipino extraction. His real name is Michael Schwartz. He was born in Daly City, California. He first gained notoriety after performing at several live DJ competitions. Mix Master Mike later joined the ground-breaking turntablist group, Invisibl Skratch Piklz. After gaining fame, he hooked up with the Beastie Boys, working on the album Hello Nasty. He is now considered their resident DJ, replacing DJ Hurricane (who was preceded by Doctor Dre - not to be confused with Dr. Dre !).

LMFAO

LMFAO is a Grammy Award nominated electro-hop group from Los Angeles, California consisting of rappers REDFOO (Stefan Gordy) and Sky Blu (Skyler Gordy). Signed to a venture between Interscope and will.i.am's label will.i.am music group. They released their debut EP, the Party Rock EP, in July 2008 and it featured the hit single I'm in Miami Bitch. They followed this up with their debut album, Party Rock, in 2009 and will release their second studio album, Don't Judge Me, sometime late 2010.

Arabian Prince

Arabian Prince is the stage name of Mik Lezan (born October 12, 1964 in Inglewood, California), a rapper and hip hop producer, best known for being an original member of the legendary rap group, N.W.A. Born and raised in Inglewood, California, Arabian Prince released a solo album Situation Hot in 1985. In the following year, Arabian Prince joined up with the first gangsta rap group N.W.A. three years after graduating Inglewood High School in Inglewood, CA. He wanted to be an artist in N.W.A.

Edan (born Edan Portnoy) is an independent emcee, DJ and producer based in Boston, USA. He is a former member of the band Fiber 2001 and is known for his eclectic mix of classic mid-80s till early 90s hip-hop with 60s rock, funk and other styles. His mix-tape "Sound of the Funky Drummer" collects hip hop tracks sampling James Brown's "Funky Drummer", which has been called the most-sampled record of all time.

Otis Jackson Jr., known professionally as Madlib, is a Los Angeles-based DJ, multi-instrumentalist, MC, and music producer born on October 24, 1973 in Oxnard, California, United States. Known under a plethora of pseudonyms, he is one of the most prolific and critically acclaimed hip hop producers of the 2000s and has collaborated with myriad hip hop artists, including The Alkaholiks, Mos Def, De La Soul, Ghostface Killah, Talib Kweli, A.G.

Childish Gambino

Donald McKinley Glover (born September 25, 1983) is an American actor, writer, comedian, musician and rapper. Glover first came to attention for his work in the sketch group Derrick Comedy and is best known for his role as community college student Troy Barnes on the NBC comedy series Community. Glover was born on Edwards Air Force Base, California, and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. He graduated from New York University with a degree in Dramatic Writing in 2006. Glover is known for his work on the NBC show Community alongside Joel McHale and Chevy Chase.

Killa Kela

Killa Kela (real name Lee Potter born in 1979) is an English beatboxer from West Sussex.
Kela began beatboxing in his teens with the 360 Physicals crew. He was discovered by DJ Vadim when he sent a tape of his beatboxing to Vadim's now defunct label Jazz Fudge. His first release was a mixtape with Mr. Thing called "Antistatic Mouthwash". Since then, Kela has been a member of the Isolationists, Rock Steady Crew and The Scratch Perverts.

The Last Kinection

The Last Kinection are an Indigenous hip hop trio made up of brother and sister Weno and Nay, as well as DJ Jaytee.
No strangers to the music industry, The Last Kinection have had significant success and experience for years before the group formed. Naomi (MC Nay) was one half of R&B Pop group Shakaya and signed with a major multinational label at the age of 16, quickly climbing the ARIA charts and selling platinum singles and a debut album.

Urthboy

Urthboy is an Australian MC, hailing from the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. He started out in the late 90s with the live hip-hop group Explanetary, alongside fellow MC Realistix, Elgusto (drums) and Luke Dubs (keys). The latter two went on to form Hermitude. He quickly became involved with the fledgling Elefant Traks label, as well as becoming a founding member of The Herd. Currently a director and label manager of Elefant Traks, Urthboy oversees much of the daily operations of the label, from A&R work to promotions, media and accounts.
