He promptly threw himself into writing, and within 2 months had an album’s worth of material, recruited band members Andrew Thomas (bass) and Dave Nygaard (drums) and later Tim Davies (guitar) signed a recording and management agreement with PLW. The Pretty Reckless is a New York based alternative rock band fronted by American actress and model Taylor Momsen. Other members include Ben Phillips, Mark Damon and Jamie Perkins. On December 30, 2009, the band released a promo song entitled Make Me Wanna Die which was later launched on the soundtrack to the 2010 film Kick-Ass. The first EP for their album was released on June 22, 2010 and the full record "Light Me Up" was released August 27, 2010 in the UK and on February 8, 2011 in the USA.

Kennedy (born November 27, 1969) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist originally from Spokane, Washington who possesses an impressive vocal range, with his longest held on note timed at 22 seconds (in Mayfield Four's "Summergirl". Kennedy, a former guitar instructor in the Spokane area who has appeared as a guest of both live performances and recording sessions of numerous bands over the years, currently fronts Alter Bridge, a United States rock band and the brainchild of former Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti.
