Atra Vetosus is a melodic black metal band from Tasmania, Australia formed in March of 2011.
Originaly consisting of 2 members Thorodan (Vocals) and Slikver (Instruments, composition & backing vocals). On November 17, 2011 their demo titled "A Palace Shrouded In Emptiness"
was released via Immortal Frost Productions. Soon after Atra Vetosus recruited a full line up in order to start playing shows.
Astriaal is a black metal band from Brisbane, Australia. The band formed in the winter of 1998 as a three piece with Baaruhl on both vocals and guitar. Astriaal released their debut demo 'Glories of the Nightsky' in October 1998 with Baaruhl playing both bass and guitar. Since the addition of bass player Murtach in 1999, Astriaal's line-up has remained solid. The band's first live show was as support to Nazxul in November 1998.
Mhorgl is a Melodic Black Metal from Western Australia and have slowly evolved into a very unique mix between Raw Black Metal with a handful of Melodic interludes or verses hence making them Experimental - to that context. They have odd structures and generally create an unconventional song style with an offbeat sound yet, a Melodic atmosphere. Originally conceived in 2004 as an extremely raw, monotone and violent Black Metal project, Mhorgl has slowly evolved becoming more epic in nature while retaining the aggression which will always be the basis of it's vision.
Dark Funeral is a <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/black%20metal" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">black metal</a> Band from Sweden. Their music is describable in four words: Extreme, raw, blasphemous and fast. The melodies are very extensive and complex. Dark Funeral was formed by Ahriman and Blackmoon in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1993. The two were joined by Draugen (drums) and Themgoroth (vocals and bass) before the group began rehearsing and writing material. In the January of 1994, Dark Funeral entered Uni-Sound Studio, owned by <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Dan+Swan%C3%B6" class="bbcode_artist">Dan Swanö</a>, to record their first EP, titled Dark Funeral.
The Abyss was a Black Metal side-project formed in 1994 by the members of Swedish Death Metal band Hypocrisy. They recorded two full-lengths, The Other Side in 1995 and Summon The Beast in 1997.

There is more than one band called Infected. 1. Infected is a band from Sinzig, Germany, who defines their style as modern death metal. Up to now the 5 friends released one EP titled "Coma". The Line-Up consists of Nico Kaden (vocals), Marcel Sonnenberg (guitar), Christoph Mönch (drums), Marcel Pinger (bass) and Malte Müller (guitar). Infected was founded in 2004 but a few changes in the line-up were to follow. But since 2005 the current line-up has not been changed except for Malte Müller, who joined the band in 2008.
The leading warriors of Australian Battle Metal have finally arrived with their first era entitled ONLY THE BRAVE RETURN. A 50-minute epic journey displaying an array of blackened melodic death metal, of course mixed with elements of medieval folk music and battle cries. Each song on the album also represents a chapter in the coinciding novel, based on an original fantasy story created by the band.
