Declan Kelly

There are at least two artists that share the name Declan Kelly. 1. A Sydney-based soul and roots act. 2. Declan Kelly, the deejay, has been an active member of Melbourne's music community for the last 10 years. Through Dj'ing in; clubs, bars and festivals; producing music; designing sound for theatre; touring international artists; and his well-received and eclectic radio programs on PBS and RRR, he has gained a reputation as someone who cares about sound and constructs it as such, often working in tandem with musical partner Richard Campbell under their Research & Development alias.

Bomba

Their infectious sound and engaging live show has been recruiting Bomba lovers around the country for the last four years. This Melbourne based, five piece, funky reggae act first landed on the Australian scene as a way to play mutually loved music. After having played for a couple of years, the band's first full length release was the album Population which proved to be a winner with radio and Bomba fans alike.

Horace Andy

Horace Andy is a legendary roots reggae singer, notable for such tracks as Government Land, You Are My Angel and Skylarking. Born Horace Hinds on 19 February 1951 in Kingston, Jamaica, he made his earliest recordings in the late 1960s. Known for his distinctive falsetto vocal style, he sung on many classic production for reggae producers, including Phil Pratt, King Tubby and Prince Jammy. He is a devout Rastafari and, like many reggae singers, much of his material deals with themes of religion and social justice.

Big Mountain

Big Mountain are an American Reggae and Pop music act from San Diego, California, established in 1991. The band had a major hit in 1994 with a cover of Peter Frampton's "Baby I Love Your Way", which also featured in the soundtrack to the film Reality Bites. The follow-up single , "Sweet Sensual Love" reached number fifty-one in the UK, while Unity, the album it was on, went on to sell over a million copies worldwide. Maxi Priest

Maxi Priest (born Max Alfred Elliott on June 10, 1961) is a reggae singer from England. Career Of West Indian descent, and the second youngest of nine children, he was born in Lewisham, London. He is known as the 'King of Lovers Rock'. His music is sometimes closer to R&B, and pop, than to reggae music itself. His first major album was the self-titled Maxi Priest (1988) along with his cover of Cat Stevens' Wild World established him as one of the British reggae top singers this internationally acclaimed vocalist, is the only UK reggae act to score an American Billboard Number One.

Major Lazer

Diplo and Switch certainly live the life. Hugely successful DJs/producers in their own right, last year they joined forces and headed to Jamaica to explore their Rasta roots. Little John

b. John McMorris, C. 1970, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. McMorris first recorded with Captain Sinbad for the Youth In Progress label at the tender age of nine, where his piping interjections contrasted neatly with Sinbad's gruff style, and throughout the 80's he was seldom out of the Reggae charts.
