After sharing the stage in various punk bands; 2009 saw four friends with similar dreams come together to write and record some of the most fun, heartdriven and diverse songs in Australian punk rock. Drawing influence from the greater world of music, the band has managed to create a sound which clashes with many a genre; yet always carries the passion of its driving p...unk rock roots.
Don Letts’ came to notoriety in the late '70s DJing reggae music to punk crowds at 'The Roxy' club in London. He also started to document the punk rock movement in 'The Punk Rock Movie'. He continued to make documentaries across the spectrum of credible music including a celebrated film about Bob Marley. Musically, he was a founder member of Basement 5 and Big Audio Dynamite,the latter with The Clash's Mick Jones, managed the all woman punk group The Slits and collaborated with many post-punk outfits in the 1980s.
Originally called simply The Maytals, are considered legends of ska and reggae music. They are from Kingston, Jamaica. Their sound is a unique, original combination of gospel, ska, soul, reggae and rock. Frederick "Toots" Hibbert, the leader of the group, was born in May Pen in the Parish of Clarendon, Jamaica. He was the youngest of seven children. He grew up singing gospel music in a church choir, but moved to Kingston in 1961 at the age of sixteen.
Babylon Circus is a ska punk band from Lyon (France) formed in 1995 and consisting of ten members. They have released 5 albums, the most recent being 'La Belle Étoile' (2009). Official Website

Katchafire is a reggae band from Hamilton, New Zealand. They present an infusion of the roots reggae lineage with an undeniably Maori sound. They feature Logan Bell (Guitar, Vocals), Jamey Ferguson (Keyboards, Saxophone, Vocals), Haani Totorewa (Keyboards, Guitar, Vocals), Grenville Bell, (Lead Guitar) Ara Adams-Taratewa (Bass), Jordan Bell (Drums), and Leon Davey (Percussion, Harmonica, Vocals).
Originally a 4-piece, King Cannons formed at the end of 2007 in Auckland City, New Zealand. Percussion and keys came soon after and at the beginning of 2009 after a myriad of obstacles along the way, including a short re-location to London, King Cannons relocated to Melbourne, Australia. Following the whirlwind success of their first single “Teenage Dreams”, King Cannons have risen to become one of Melbourne’s finest Rock & Roll acts.
Their infectious sound and engaging live show has been recruiting Bomba lovers around the country for the last four years. This Melbourne based, five piece, funky reggae act first landed on the Australian scene as a way to play mutually loved music. After having played for a couple of years, the band's first full length release was the album Population which proved to be a winner with radio and Bomba fans alike.

Bonding over a shared love of NZ music and passion for making their own, Six60 formed after meeting at a Kora concert in 2006. Three members flatted together as Otago Uni students, spending countless hours in their recording studio (Eli's room) at number 660 on notorious Castle St.
