Rihanna(born Robyn Rihanna Fenty on February 20, 1988) is a Barbadian singer with musical influnces from pop,R&B,reggae,dancehall,and dance.Rihanna became known around the world with chart hits such as "Pon de Replay","SOS","Unfaithful","Break it off2,and more recently with"Umberella"and"Shut Up and Drive.Rihanna was born in Saint Michael, Barbados to Ronald and Monica Fenty. The Ready Set is the solo project of 21 year old Jordan Witzigreuter, started November 17th, 2007. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, his interest in music formed when he began playing drums at the age of 10. He says that he came home one day and his mom told him that she had signed him up for drum lessons. He states that those lessons are the main reasons he is where he is in music today. By the age of 14 he was playing in bands, playing drums while getting more familiar with other instruments, and by the age of 16 he was touring in them.

The day before his senior year as a playwright student at the University of North Carolina, Joe Pug sat down for a cup of coffee and had the clearest thought of his life: I am profoundly unhappy here. Then came the second clearest. Pug packed up his belongings and drove the longest route possible to Chicago. Working as a carpenter by day, the 23 year-old Pug spent nights playing the guitar he hadn't picked up since his teenage years.

Kath Bloom

Kath Bloom was born and raised in New Haven, CT, where she learned to play guitar among the headstones of her local cemetery. She met avant-garde guitarist Loren Mazzacane Connors in 1976 and together they recorded six limited edition albums of fragile folk and blues melodies between 1981 and 1984.

After her collaborations with Connors, Kath entered a period of child-rearing and family life, returning to recording in the early 90s. Director Richard Linklater discovered Bloom's music and featured her song Come Here in a pivotal scene in his 1995 film Before Sunrise.

Holly Miranda

Holly Miranda is a Detroit born musician, raised between Michigan and Tennessee. Besides being trained in piano, Holly is a self-taught guitar and trumpet player. In 2001, She recorded "High Above The City", a 20-track solo album available only at shows. In the fall of 2003, Holly met and teamed up with Alex Lipsen, producer and keys player. The project evolved into The Jealous Girlfriends, a four piece band based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She also recorded and performed as Raven Mayhem.
