Album 2009 : AWAY FROM THE SEA Two or three times a week, on his Myspace page, Yuksek gets an e-mail from Turkey saying “Hey, know what? Yuksek means “high” in Turkish!” The answer to which is no! Pierre-Alexandre Busson wasn’t aware of this when he chose the name by instinct four years ago, partly for its sound and partly to buck the trend of English-sounding names that are ubiquitous in electronic music. In recent months, the pseudonym has been collecting an ever-growing halo of buzz.

Stray is a much more positive approach than Unter Null. 2.Stray are a UK rock band that formed in 1966. Vocalist Steve Gadd, guitarist Del Bromham, bass player Gary Giles and drummer Steve Crutchley formed the group whilst all were attending the local Christopher Wren School in London.

As a graduate in sound engineering at prestigious Parisian FEMIS film school, Quentin Lepoutre, aka Myd, offered his strong technical expertise to make his Club Cheval crew – him plus Canblaster, Panteros666 and Sam Tiba – become serious outsiders on the dance music map. A strawberry-blond version of Quincy Jones for the Facebook/Tumblr/post-empire generation, Myd’s a very versatile music-maker, both able to deliver purely functional, club-oriented tracky material, and poppier, regressive house fantaisies.
