Lee Burridge is an internationally known house and breakbeat DJ. He is from the UK but lived and worked in Hong Kong and occasionally Thailand during the 1990s. Returning to London, he gained fame and popularity. In 2001, he released the DJ mix Nubreed 005 for the Global Underground Nubreed series. In 2001 he also released the Tyrant 1&2 compilations with Craig Richards on Fabric records, London. In 2003, he released the second mix for the Global Underground series 24:7, and in 2005 he joined with Sander Kleinenberg to release This is Everybody! On Tour.
Songfacts reports that Nashville pop rock band Hot Chelle Rae began with a meeting between singer-songwriter Nash Overstreet and guitarist Ryan Follese in 2005. After several changes, they eventually finalised their line up as Follese (lead vocalist), Overstreet (lead guitarist) plus Ian Keaggy (bass) and Jamie Follese (drums) and named themselves after their first "dedicated" fan, Chelle Rae. The French is a synth duo formed by Darren Hayman and John Morrison, both formerly of Hefner. The French developed the more electronic sound present on Hefner's last album: Dead Media. They have released one full length album called Local Information, an EP called Dagenham and a double a-side single called Gabriel In the Airport/Porn Shoes in the years 2003-2004.
