Tim Minchin

Tim Minchin (born 1975) is an Australian comedian, actor, composer, songwriter, pianist, musical director and a self proclaimed rock 'n' roll megastar. He was born in Northampton, England, and grew up in Perth, Western Australia. He attended UWA (University of Western Australia) before launching onto the world stage at the 2005 Edinburgh Fringe Festival by winning the Best Newcomer Perrier Comedy Award.

There at two band with the name Spoonfed: 1) Spoonfed are a mid-paced Dystopia worshiping punk band hailing from Sydney, Australia with previous members of Pure Evil Trio, Crux, Doss, Scum System Kill..etc. 2) Spoonfed was essentially an Emily (that's emiLy) side project. Here is the "Brief History of Spoonfed" that came in the booklet which accompanied the self-titled tape: Spoonfed began as an excuse for me to play the songs I had written on guitar instead of trying to teach the guitar parts to Joe and using them as emiLy songs.

Julia and The Deep Sea Sirens

Delicate tunes that float and dance in the air, sung by a girl with a voice which varies from a seductive whisper to a desperate cry. Melodic guitars and a rhythm section which, if it chooses, can produce an energy which mesmerizes you, whitens your knuckles as they cling to your seat, only to drop you into a pool of calm, your heart still pounding in your chest. Julia and the Deep Sea Sirens started 18 months ago with just Julia and Yo (Johanna) stuffing around in music class during grade 12.

For Our Hero is an unsigned pop rock band from Melbourne, Australia. The band formed two years ago and have recently released their debut EP 'Threw the Looking-Glass'. Taplin brothers Jay, on vocals and Beau who writes the band's lyrics, Dave Tran and Leon Blair on guitar, while Geoff Taylor and Nax Vee complete the six piece band, play bass and drums. With pitch perfect melodies, beats and rythym as rocking as they come, lyrics as witty and fresh as the song names, For Our Hero's sound is sure to get anyone up jumping and dancing.

Bob Evans

There are three artists with the name Bob Evans. 1. Kevin Mitchell (born 1 October 1976), is a pop musician from Fremantle, Australia, most famous for his role as vocalist/guitarist for the band Jebediah. Mitchell often performs his solo work under the pseudonym of Bob Evans. He has released three albums under this name, the first being Suburban Kid, which was released in 2003. It was released on Redline Records, and was not widely available. Whilst all the tracks were written by Kevin Mitchell, one song, "The Hermit", was co-written by Luke Steele from The Sleepy Jackson.

Wardaemonic

Wardaemonic is a black metal band from Perth, Australia formed in 2005. The band line up consists of Old (vocals), Regnator (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Anharat (guitar), Blitz (bass) and Maelstrom (drums). To date they have released two albums, Through the Dank Pale Gravelands in 2005 and Echoes of Ageless Flames in 2010. They have also contributed one track (Nattens Madrigal) to the Ulver tribute CD: My Own Wolf: A New Approach.

They have toured with with some of the biggest names in metal including; Slayer, Arch Enemy, Soilwork, Mastodon, Dark Tranquillity, The Black Dahlia Murder, Kataklysm and Cephalic Carnage. Following the release of their successful debut EP called 'Scars Of Fire', Double Dragon released their debut album 'Devastator' in July of 2008.

Ian Moss

Ian Moss first came to attention as the guitarist for Australian rock legends Cold Chisel. After they split up in 1983, Jimmy Barnes jumped into a successful solo career, but Moss laid low, only forming the Ian Moss Band in 1986. After spending nine months in L.A. sorting through song demos, he eventually co-wrote "Tucker's Daughter" with former Cold Chisel bandmember Don Walker. The song went to number one in Australia in March 1989 and his debut album, Matchbook, was released in September. It also went to number one and sold over 210,000 copies.

Tirren Staaf (born 1977), otherwise known as Pegz (or MC Pegasus), is an Australian hip hop artist and producer hailing from Melbourne, Victoria. He is the CEO of Obese Records. The record label responsible for artists such as Hilltop Hoods, Downsyde, and Bias B. Pegz musical career is long and impressive and his impact as an artist is no less impressive than his business achievements. Pegz earliest music influences were his mom's Stevie Wonder records and Polynesian parties with his father. This soulful influence can be heard on his various tracks throughout his releases.
