The Salvadors

It’s taken a while to get there, but in between name changes (ex Bakewell Street), losing a drummer, finding a few more, undergoing throat surgery, losing mixes in the post – finally, The Salvadors are proud to present their new single, Atacama Disco, taken from their forthcoming EP, Misspent Youth. Atacama Disco enlightens us with the tale of a Chilean discothèque dweller, living on the outskirts of San Pedro in the Atacama Desert. She likes rock ‘n roll. She drinks Pisco. Her hair’s full of lipstick and liner. Cliché? No sir.

Ernest Ellis

‘Bad Blood’ is the first single from Dew Process’ newest signing, Ernest Ellis. It’s a little slice of what is to come for this talented musician from Sydney. Ernest Ellis draws a lot of inspiration from the beat poet who took the famous pancake tour of America, Jack Kerouac. That sense of exploration and adventure, and the waywardness of the characters permeates its way through both his music and lyricism.

The Scientists of Modern Music

TSOMM (for the abbreviation) are a synth bomb, the fallout being incredible tron-pop, beat driven glam-rock fronted by melody making, flesh and blood drones. With deep, rhythmic electric guitar hooks, crispy clean black and white outfits and more vocoders than you can poke an antenna at, these two take their audience on a journey that starts with a ramp and drives through the still clean disco to the fragmenting and decaying sounds of the future.
