In their own words, The Barons of Tang describe themselves as "gypsy deathcore." Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, they take the best from gypsy, and add a slightly heavier edge to it. Vocals are kept to a minimum, allowing the raw energy of the instruments to pull the listener into a crazy trance fuelled by catchy beats and hanging on delicious melodies.
The Wonder Years are 6 dudes from the Keystone State that play their own brand of realist Pop Punk. Since 2006 they have released a split EP with Bangarang!, a full length entitled "Get Stoked On It!," a 7" named "Won't Be Pathetic Forever," and a split 7" with All or Nothing called "Distances," along with 2 tour EP's. The band's sophomore full length "The Upsides" was released on January 26th, 2010 and will be Re-released in September/October on Hopeless Records, who they have recently signed to.
Former The Runaway's guitarist Joan Jett began forming the Blackhearts, a backing band for her burgeoning solo career, with manager Kenny Laguna's assistance circa 1979. Since then the roster has included the current lineup of Thommy Price on drums, guitarist Dougie Needles and bassist Enzo Penizzotto and numerous predecessors like Gary Ryan, Eric Ambel, Danny Furious, Lee Crystal and Kasim Sulton.
Against Me! is a punk rock band originally from Naples, Florida, and later relocated to Gainesville, Florida. They are known for their heavily folk-influenced sound and energetic live shows (Spin named them one of the 25 greatest live bands in 2006). Their first full-length album, released on No Idea Records in 2002, was the highly-acclaimed Reinventing Axl Rose. In December 2005, they signed to Sire Records, and released their major label debut, New Wave, on July 10, 2007.

No Trigger is a punk/hardcore band from Massachusetts that formed in 2000. In 2004, the band compiled their early recordings and remastered the sound for their debut release, "Extinction In Stereo", released on independent record label Bigmouth Japan. The record received a significant amount of attention and praise from the punk rock press. Currently there are at least 2 bands using the name Discourse. 1) Discourse is a two-piece pop band currently based in Philadelphia, PA. Inspired by an urban legend that describes seminal cultural philosopher Michel Foucault as "that fucked-up guy dancing in the corner", they formed in the fall of 2009 and quickly wrote the songs that make up their first release, the Golden Year EP.
