Rahzel

Rahzel, born Rahzel M. Brown, is an American musician. He is a hip hop MC who specializes in beatboxing (he calls himself a 'vocal percussionist'). He is probably best known as a member of The Roots. He is also called "the Godfather of Noyze". Growing up in the Bronx, Rahzel went to Grandmaster Flash's shows regularly and later became a roadie of the Ultramagnetic MCs. He was also influenced by artists like Doug E. Fresh, Biz Markie, Bobby McFerrin, Buffy of the Fat Boys, and Al Jarreau.

Shawn Corey Carter (born December 4, 1969 in Brooklyn, New York), is an American rapper and former president and CEO of Roc A Fella Records. He is more commonly known by a variety of stage names including Jay-Z, S. Carter, Jigga, Hova, J-Hova, Hov, and Young Hov. He is regarded as one of the most prolific and successful American blend artists of the mid-90s and early 2000s and is known for his use of metaphors, freestyling abilities, word play, flow, and blending of street and popular hip hop.

William Braunstein (born 1972), better known as ILL BILL, is a political minded MC from Brooklyn, New York. He is also a producer, and the man behind Uncle Howie Records. In 2003, Ill Bill declared himself to be the future. The truth is, Ill Bill is the past, the present AND the future. The cult leader is most definitely back. After several years of blood, sweat and no tears, the prophecy has been fulfilled with the breakout album The Hour of Reprisal.

Silent Knight

There are at least two artists called "Silent Knight." 1. Emerging from the New Jersey underground Urban performance circuit comes Silent Knight, a recording artist who brings a new glimmer of hope to Hip-Hop culture. This Brooklyn born - Tri State raised performer is an emcee whose electric stage presence and poignant lyrical abilities are smartly matched by his tastefully scathing social and political views.

Ari Posner composes an eclectic variety of music for series television, feature and documentary films, as well as radio and TV commercials. Originally from Winnipeg, Ari came to Toronto and completed an Honours Fine Arts degree in Music at York University (1989 to 1993). With a strong background in classical and popular piano his studies at York focused on jazz performance, composition and music for film and television under the direction of composer Paul Hoffert.

Over-Reactor

Over-reactor are a hip-hop/punk/metal two piece from Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2010. After establishing himself as a powerhouse songwriter and producer with The Director's Cult and Dukes Of Windsor, musicologist Cory Blight spent four months in 2009 recording the music tracks for Over-reactor in his studio in St Kilda.
Enter Ezekiel Ox, the punk rock shaman who had already torched every major Australian festival's stage, harnessed the power of Columbia Records in New York and sold out a UK headline tour with his bands Mammal and Full Scale.

You will never catch BLACASTAN rocking a mullet or a neon cardigan. Blacastan will never duet with a boy band or auto-tune his lyrics. His sound is not only the past, but a glimpse of an unpaved lane on the highway to hip hop's holy land, the physical embodiment of this rap shit the way it was meant to be heard. The second coming of the shit you used to watch @ 4:30 PM on BET in 1994. Classic material.

Electric Wire Hustle

Developing their own sound and twist on modern hip-hop, psychedelic and soul, the music of EWH reaches forward while referencing key points of music's past. Thick drums and percussion layered with synth lines, hints of the Fender Rhodes and nylon stringed guitars have your neck snapping while your ears crane to its soulful vocals. While the EWH moniker is a relatively fresh name (formed in 2006) on the scene, this production trio is no stranger to the music game. Members Myele Manzanza, Taay Ninh, Mara TK are all familiar faces in the music scene in Wellington, New Zealand.
