Mercury Sky

Mercury Sky is a new project involving long-time musical partners, guitarist Keiren Lovett and drummer Keiran Berry, who found singer/guitarist Austin Uebel and bassist Tim Chambers fresh from other musical projects. Their aim is to combine the love of original music and its complexities within their instruments with the simplicity and wide appeal of rock music to create what could be best called progressive rock/alternative rock, inspired by bands like Incubus, A Perfect Circle and Karnivool.

Lisa Mitchell

Lisa Helen Mitchell was born in England on March the 22nd of 1990, although migrated to New South Wales, Australia at the age of three. She is the eldest of two in a family which resides in the border town of Albury, Australia. Her musical journey began at age twelve when she started taking guitar lessons with a focus on rock and folk. Not long after, she fronted a cover band called Chrome - predominately playing in local cafes.

Don McGlashan

Don McGlashan is a New Zealand musician and songwriter who has been a member of bands such as The Plague, From Scratch, The Whizz Kids, Blam Blam Blam, The Front Lawn, and The Mutton Birds. He composed several pieces for the Limbs Dance Company. McGlashan won the 'Best Song' award in the 1982 New Zealand Music Awards, for the Blam Blam Blam song Don't Fight It Marsha, It's Bigger Than Both Of Us.

Ben Howard

Ben Howard (born 24 May 1988) is an English singer-songwriter, born in London. He moved to Totnes, Devon, in his teens. Howard's musically-inclined parents exposed him at a young age to their favourite records from singer-songwriter artists such as Bob Dylan, Nina Simone and John Martyn. Howard began writing his own songs and after a short spell studying journalism, he decided in 2009 at the age of 21 to become a full-time musician.

Lo-Fi solo project of ex Meet Me in St Louis front-man and former bassist from Shield Your Eyes Toby Hayes. Toby recorded his debut acoustic album 'From the Muddy Banks of the Melitzer' on September 24th 2008, which has been released on Big Scary Monsters Records. Acting as a two-part release, 'From The Muddy Banks...' has been followed up with a second album, 'Hand-reared Suburban Piglet'. This second record features the same ten songs, but re-recorded with full orchestration.

Nancy Kerr and James Fagan

Nancy Kerr (Vocals, Fiddle, Viola, Guitar) and James Fagan (Guitar, Bouzouki, Vocals, Piano) are a folk music duo currently living near Bath, UK. Nancy Kerr is English and used to perform in a duo with Eliza Carthy, and James Fagan is Australian. They were married on June 16th 2007.

Brianna Carpenter

Brianna Carpenter remembers her childhood and the times she used to play Barbies whilst listening to Elton John. Ever since then Brianna has been fascinated by song writing and has developed through other musical influences such as Jamie Cullum, Ben Folds Regina Spektor and Bic Runga. Brianna now creates a mix of Folky Alternative Pop. Even though she was born completely deaf in one ear this has not stopped Brianna’s drive to compose. Brianna began song writing at the age of 13 and after writing her first real song "The Web" people started to recognize her talent.

With first single Gypsy Horse played regularly on Triple J and featured on the Triple J Unearthed playlist, late 2010 and 2011 has so far seen the Founds played at Big Day Out, support The Naked and Famous, Ben Ottewell (Gomez), Oh Mercy, Gossling, and a series of packed local shows. A raw energy glistens from their live performances in the vein of Yeasayer, Beach House, Blonde Redhead and Warpaint.

Joshua Radin

Joshua Radin is an acoustic singer/songwriter. When close friend and actor/film-maker Zach Braff heard a demo of Radin's song "Winter," he was immediately interested, and got the song onto the show Scrubs in the episode "My Screw Up." The song received an overwhelmingly positive response and gave Radin substantial exposure with the show's demographic. The songs "Today", "Closer", "Don't Look Away" and "These Photographs" were also used on the show.
