Kimbra

Kimbra, born and bred in Hamilton, New Zealand has been writing a fusion of jazz and soul for over 5 years, known for her erratic but graceful voice inspired by the likes of Amy Winehouse, Bjork and Jeff Buckley. Kimbra's first success was in 2004, recieving Second place in the Smokefree Rockquest along with Best Vocals and Womens Musicianship (gaining $7000 in total from the competition raising artists like Brooke Fraser, Bic Runga and Anika Moa).

Sandi Thom

Sandi Thom’s infamous debut single, I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair) topped the charts in 7 countries with the ensuing album shifting over a million copies worldwide and winning her an Ivor Novello award.
That was 2006.
After touring the UK & Europe with new Blues Powerhouse Joe Bonamassa in late 2009, opening for the likes of BB King and Steve Winwood, Sandi was inspired to explore deeper and more organic musical roots with her next record.

Liz Green is a Manchester-based singer-songwriter. She is linked with Humble Soul records. Green won Glastonbury Festival's Emerging Talent Competition for in 2007. She includes Shane MacGowan, Blues, Canadian Hip Hop, Anti-folk, Musicals, George Thomas, and Late nights that last until dawn among her influences

Bob Evans

There are three artists with the name Bob Evans. 1. Kevin Mitchell (born 1 October 1976), is a pop musician from Fremantle, Australia, most famous for his role as vocalist/guitarist for the band Jebediah. Mitchell often performs his solo work under the pseudonym of Bob Evans. He has released three albums under this name, the first being Suburban Kid, which was released in 2003. It was released on Redline Records, and was not widely available. Whilst all the tracks were written by Kevin Mitchell, one song, "The Hermit", was co-written by Luke Steele from The Sleepy Jackson.

The Untied Knot consists of guitarist Nigel Bryant and percussionist Matt Donovan. Its music is a fusion of acoustic guitar filigrees, synthesizer and percussion, notably tablas and glockenspiel. The instrumental debut album “Sketches For A Lost Summer” was released in Summer 2009 to a warm reception including airplay from BBC 6 Music, WFMU in New York and Canal Extremadura in Spain.

Ruthie Foster

Ruthie Foster is an American singer/songwriter of blues and folk music. She is from Gause, Texas and from a family of gospel singers. She studied music at McLennan Community College and then worked in the US Navy, where she started performing. Her debut was released in 1997 and she has performed in North America, Europe and Australia. She has often been compared to Ella Fitzgerald and Aretha Franklin.
