Born January 11, 1985 as Sam Newton Battenberg Faulkner. Faulkner began playing guitar at the age of 11-12 with session guitarist Bob "crazy guy" Cranham and also attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, where he spent 2 years gaining both diploma and the higher diploma award under the tutelage of Eric Roche. His first band was a Green Day cover band, in which he played bass guitar.
Joshua Radin is an acoustic singer/songwriter. When close friend and actor/film-maker Zach Braff heard a demo of Radin's song "Winter," he was immediately interested, and got the song onto the show Scrubs in the episode "My Screw Up." The song received an overwhelmingly positive response and gave Radin substantial exposure with the show's demographic. The songs "Today", "Closer", "Don't Look Away" and "These Photographs" were also used on the show.
Pete Murray is an Australian singer-songwriter whose second album Feeler released on 21 July 2003 went to number one on the Australian charts on 29 March 2004 and has so far achieved six time platinum status. The third single "So Beautiful" has made the Australian top ten in the singles charts in 2004. Pete Murray was also nominated for two ARIA awards in 2003. In 2005 he released the album See The Sun with the lead track "Better Days", followed shortly after by "Class A" and most recently "Opportunity."
There are three artists with the name Bob Evans. 1. Kevin Mitchell (born 1 October 1976), is a pop musician from Fremantle, Australia, most famous for his role as vocalist/guitarist for the band Jebediah. Mitchell often performs his solo work under the pseudonym of Bob Evans. He has released three albums under this name, the first being Suburban Kid, which was released in 2003. It was released on Redline Records, and was not widely available. Whilst all the tracks were written by Kevin Mitchell, one song, "The Hermit", was co-written by Luke Steele from The Sleepy Jackson.
Emma Davis is a London-born songwriter who moved to Australia in desperate need of sunshine. Armed with her guitar and a much-loved yellow beetle, she now wanders between Melbourne and Sydney with Mark Stevens (Crooked Fiddle Band) on double bass, and Nicola Ossher on drums. Personal stories and familiar thoughts find subtle melodies in Emma’s guitar and voice, which have gained kudos from Triple J and community radio.
Matt Stevens is a musician and composer from North London, UK. He uses an acoustic guitar and a sampler to create multi layered tracks live. This is often called Live Looping. Frank Turner is a burgeoning solo artist based in the United Kingdom. He has toured the UK extensively and gone on a few forays into Central and Eastern Europe since the demise of his former band Million Dead. Frank Turner started solo acoustic shows prior to Million Dead's break up. The first official performance was at the first Small Town America all dayer at 93 Feet East on September 18th 2004. The solo performances were, in a sense, a sideline to Million Dead.
Liz Stringer is a singer, songwriter and musician based in Melbourne, Australia. With a reputation for utterly captivating live shows and a string of albums already behind her, Liz Stringer has established herself as one of Australia’s most exciting and talented musicians. Stringer most recent and her fourth studio album “Warm In The Darknessâ€, sees a departure from the intimacy of 2010’s solo record Tides of Time in favour of a bigger, more bombastic sound, with horns, organs and guitars accentuating the rock-solid foundation of long-time bandmates Tim Keegan (bass) and Adam May (drums) with the addition of Van Walker on guitar. The album was co-produced by Stringer and the Killjoys’ Craig Pilkington, who engineered and played guitar on Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu’s renowned debut and has produced/engineered many of Australia’s greats.

Amazingly & without label backing, Liz has a ground swell of interest within the independent and greater music industry, and is widening this interest and acclaim with the releases of Pendulum, Tides of time and now Warm In The Darkness.
