Less Than Jake

Less Than Jake is a ska-punk band formed in 1992 in Gainesville, Florida. They were recently released from their contract with Warner Brothers. Their current line-up includes Chris (vocals, guitar), Roger (bass, vocals, guitar at certain live shows), Vinnie (drums, lyricist), Buddy (trombone, bass at certain live shows) and JR (saxophone). The band's name derives from a dog Vinnie had while growing up, which was treated better than the rest of the family. It's also a reference to the phrase "everything is jake," which is an old phrase meaning everything is cool.

Dover

Dover is a spanish alternative-pop-rock band which was founded in 1992. The Band currently consists of the sisters Christina Llanos (guitar/vocals) and Amparo Llanos (guitar), Jesús Antúnez (drums) and Samuel Titos (bass) who recently replaced former bass Álvaro Díez. Their music is from heavy to sweet, shouting to dreaming, but always with a groovy drive. Dover originated in the outskirts of Madrid at the beginning of the 1990s when the Llanos sisters decided to form a rock band encouraged by the alternative scene from Seattle.

Area 7

There is more than one artist with this name 1. an Australian, punk, ska punk band formed in 1994 2. A Peruvian all female Nu Metal band formed in 1999 1. Area-7 rose from the ashes of Madness cover band Mad Not Madness. In 1994 three members, Dugald McNaughtan (keyboards), Charles "Chucky T" Thompson (guitar) and Dan Morrison (drums) left the group and began to write their own songs. They formed a band and named it after a lyric from The Specials' Dawning of a New Era.

Prvou etapou je obdobie od vzniku skupiny v roku 1988 až do roku 1993. Počas tohoto obdobia skupina vydala štyri demo kazety a jej tvorba sa dala jednoznačne zaradiť do thrash metalovej škatuľky.
Druhou etapou je obdobie od roku 1994, kedy skupine vychádza prvý oficiálne vydaný album "Shut Up!", na ktorom sa skupina predstavuje už nielen vo svojej typickej thrash metalovej podobe, ale svoju hudbu obohacuje aj o prvky hardcoru a punku.

Murderdolls are a horror punk/glam metal band fronted by Wednesday 13, formerly of Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13. One of their primary influences is the Glam Metal genre. The band were originally promoted as the "other band" of Joey Jordison, the drummer of Slipknot, or a "collaboration" between Jordison and Tripp Eisen, created after the disbandment of The Rejects. Unwritten Law is an American rock band formed in 1990 in Poway, California (a suburb of San Diego) and currently recording for Suburban Noize Records. They have released seven full-length studio albums and have toured internationally, including performances on the Warped Tour. While their earlier work draws from the punk and skate punk tradition, recent Propagandhi records have moved towards a heavier, hardcore thrash-influenced sound. The Saints

1) The Saints are a punk-rock band formed in 1974 in Brisbane, Australia. Their musical inspiration came from sources as diverse as 1950s rock 'n' roll and 1960s Detroit punk band <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/The+Stooges" class="bbcode_artist">The Stooges</a>. The Saints music pioneered the fast tempos and buzzing guitars parallel to more widely-known punk acts like <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/+noredirect/The+Ramones" class="bbcode_artist">The Ramones</a> and <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/+noredirect/The+Sex+Pistols" class="bbcode_artist">The Sex Pistols</a>. In mid-1977 the band moved to the UK, where it became apparent that they and their label had different ideas as to how they should be marketed. EMI planned to sell The Saints as a typical punk band complete with ripped clothes.
