Lissie

Lissie Maurus (born 1982), known by her stage name Lissie, is an American folk rock artist. She released her debut EP, "Why You Runnin'", in November 2009. Her debut album, Catching a Tiger, was released in June 2010. Lissie is from along the banks of the Mississippi, Rock Island, Illinois.
Why You Runnin' - the Fat Possum released & Bill Reynolds (Band Of Horses) produced - EP released in the US late last year, earned the young singer high praise, with coverage in Bust, Filter, Marie Claire, Nylon, and Under The Radar to name but a few.

The Felice Brothers

The Felice Brothers are a folk rock/country rock band from upstate New York founded in 2006. It is comprised of the five main members Ian Felice (lead vocals, guitar, piano), David Turbeville (drums, vocals), James Felice (accordion, piano, organ), and Christmas (bass), previously a traveling dice player. They have been joined by Farley, a washboard player and fiddler, and others who at times had a horn section to the band. The brothers are from the Catskill Mountains of New York. They hail from Palenville, NY, twenty minutes from Woodstock.

Steve Smyth

(Steve Smyth is also a former guitarist for the metal bands Nevermore, Testament, Dragonlord, Vicious Rumors, and Forbidden ) "Hailing from the rugged heartland of the New South Wales south coast, Steven Smyth's roots in music can be traced back, past adolescent forays into punk, folk and rock, to a childhood of Sunday gospel sessions. Smyth's musical passions range far and wide. At 14, he started a short-lived punk band, by his late teens it was all about Bob Dylan.

The Low Anthem

They formed in 2003 and consist of multi-instrumentalists Ben Miller, Jeff Prystowsky, Jocie Adams and Mat Davidson. Ernest Ellis

‘Bad Blood’ is the first single from Dew Process’ newest signing, Ernest Ellis. It’s a little slice of what is to come for this talented musician from Sydney. Ernest Ellis draws a lot of inspiration from the beat poet who took the famous pancake tour of America, Jack Kerouac. That sense of exploration and adventure, and the waywardness of the characters permeates its way through both his music and lyricism.

Their album BEACHCOMBER's WINDOWSILL has been released in the USA: Amazon, iTunes, and Insound. Stornoway is a British alternative indie pop band who formed in 2006 in the Cowley area of Oxford, UK. Stornoway consists of singer and guitarist Brian Briggs; singer, guitarist, cellist and keyboardist
Jon ouin; singer, guitarist and bassist Oliver; and drummer Robert. The band is often joined by trumpeter Adam Briggs and violinist Rahul Satija.

Ben Howard

Ben Howard (born 24 May 1988) is an English singer-songwriter, born in London. He moved to Totnes, Devon, in his teens. Howard's musically-inclined parents exposed him at a young age to their favourite records from singer-songwriter artists such as Bob Dylan, Nina Simone and John Martyn. Howard began writing his own songs and after a short spell studying journalism, he decided in 2009 at the age of 21 to become a full-time musician.

David Dondero

David Dondero is a singer/songwriter whose music has been compared to such American folk music/troubadour greats as Woody Guthrie and Townes Van Zandt. He began in 1993 as a member of the band Sunbrain, and later played in This Bike Is a Pipe Bomb and The Flatwheelers. He is currently on the Team Love Records label and has toured with such acts as Bright Eyes, Tilly and the Wall, Spoon, and Willy Mason.

Beirut

The EPs and the albums by Beirut are largely the work of Zach Condon, a young Santa Fe, New Mexico native. Condon has recorded before: when he was fifteen and under the name of Realpeople, he made an electronic record, fashioned after his love for The Magnetic Fields. Condon was a straight-A student until he dropped out at the age of 17 to travel Europe with his cousin in a drunken haze, cavorting and partying with the locals wherever he ended up.
