Comeback Kid (CBK for short) is a hardcore band from Winnipeg, Canada, formed in 2002 by Andrew Neufeld and Jeremy Hiebert, who were both members of the band Figure Four, currently on hiatus. In 2003, Comeback Kid signed to California hardcore label Face Down Records, who released their debut album, Turn It Around. For their 2005 album Wake the Dead, they signed to Victory Records internationally, and to Smallman Records in Canada. Wake the Dead has now sold over 100,000 copies and was voted Alternative Press's 100 bands to know in 2005.
The Misfits are an American band often recognized as the progenitors of the horror punk subgenre, blending punk rock and other musical influences with horror film themes and imagery. Founded in 1977 in Lodi, New Jersey by singer and songwriter Glenn Danzig, the group had a fluctuating lineup during its first six years with Danzig and bassist Jerry Only as the only consistent members. During this time they released several EPs and singles, and with Only's brother Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein as guitarist, the albums Walk Among Us (1982) and Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood (1983), both considered touchstones of the early-1980s hardcore punk movement.
The Misfits disbanded in 1983 and Danzig went on to form Samhain and then the eponymous Danzig. Several albums of reissued and previously unreleased material were issued after the group's dissolution, and their music became influential to punk rock, heavy metal, and alternative rock music of the late 1990s and early 2000s.
After a series of legal battles with Danzig, Only and Doyle regained the rights to record and perform as the Misfits. They formed a new version of the band in 1995 with singer Michale Graves and drummer Dr. Chud. This incarnation of the Misfits had a sound much more rooted in heavy metal, and released the albums American Psycho (1997) and Famous Monsters (1999) before dissolving in 2000. Jerry Only then took over lead vocals and recruited former Black Flag guitarist Dez Cadena and former Ramones drummer Marky Ramone for a Misfits 25th Anniversary tour.
This lineup released an album of cover songs entitled Project 1950 and toured for several years. In 2005 Ramone was replaced by Robo, who had played with Black Flag in the early 1980s and had also previously been the Misfits' drummer from 1982 to 1983. This lineup released a single titled "Land of the Dead" in 2009. The Misfits' then-current lineup of Only, Cadena, and drummer Eric 'Chupacabra' Arce released a new album titled The Devil's Rain in October 2011.
On September 4, 2016, the "Original" Misfits played their first show with Glenn Danzig since 1983. The lineup included Danzig, Only, Doyle, Slayer's Dave Lombardo on drums, and guitarist Acey Slade. Kvelertak (meaning stranglehold or chokehold) is a six-piece black metal hardcore punk band from Stavanger, Norway. All lyrics are written in Norwegian, the band's native language, and concerning Norse mythology/Viking folklore. As of today, the six members are: Erlend Hjelvik (vocals), Vidar Landa (guitar), Bjarte Lund Rolland (guitar), Maciek Ofstad (guitar), Marvin Nygaard (bass), and Kjetil Gjermundrød (drums). Known for their consistent, idiosyncratic sound, the band states that their main influences are rock and roll, black metal and punk.
Plan of Attack was a hardcore punk formed in 2002 in the Chicagoland area. They recorded two albums, which were hailed across the country for their no-nonsense approach to a genre that many fans were beginning to become disillusioned with.

The band is composed of vocalist Chris Hague, guitarists Ian Edgerly and Jay Holmes, bassist Michael Magas, and drummer Danny Sheridan. Refrain is at least 3 bands: 1. Refrain was heavy metal band from Kuopio, Finland and was formed in 2004. In 2005 they released demo Psychosis and in 2006 EP Justice for the Undead. Their activity ended in 2007 - 2008.

Descendents are an American punk rock band from Lomita, California, USA. They are known for being one of the early bands in the hardcore punk scene to sing about more personal and comical topics reflective of their own lives. They were formed in 1978 by guitarist Frank Navetta (RIP) , bassist Tony Lombardo and drummer Bill Stevenson. Shortly after forming they enlisted Milo Aukerman and made what started out a surf band into a full fledged punk unit.

Clusterfuck formed in late 2003 in Bridgeport, CT. Since then, some of the members have moved, so now they have two members in Arizona, one in Virginia, and one in Connecticut. They still tour and play shows when possible though, and they're still recording. They have three releases: Midlife Crisis 7", This is for Ruining My Life...split 7" with Rat Byte, and How the West Was Won LP (limited to 300 on white vinyl).
