Rob Robot

Rob Robot is the name that unites four dudes who like to play bulk music. Since forming in 2009, Rob Robot have blasted their way onto the local music scene with their unique sound and style which has been described by some as ‘anthematic indie’. Brothers, Pat on guitar and Jak Pearson on bass, developed their love for music early on in a shed in Central Queensland. They are joined by energetic lead vocalist, Jamie Bell, and dynamic drummer Kane Donoghue to produce catchy melodies, melodic riffs and high energy and unpredictably entertaining performances.

Mr. Maps

Mr. Maps are a five-piece instrumental rock band from Brisbane, Australia. Since their inception in 2007, Mr. Maps have quickly earned a reputation for transcendental live performances showcasing complex layers of bass, drums and guitar lifted by lush piano and cello, and punctuated by electronic glitches and tones. Mr. Maps’ compositions are experimental and meticulous with an air of optimism and beauty, blending math-rock with elements of New York post-classical and electronics.

Alla Spina

Alla Spina is a five piece New Wave band from Brisbane in Queensland, Australia. Forming in late 2010, Alla Spina are already becoming well known in and around Brisbane for their high energy music and performances. Influenced by various forms of music, Alla Spina (which means “pumped up” in Italian), play music inflected by Punk, rock, pop and ska. The band strive to break musical and social boundaries by sticking to a “no boundaries” formula to their hybrid sound and writing songs that speak about breaking stereotypes and following one’s own path.

The Gifthorse

The Gifthorse were a punk band hailing from Brisbane, Queensland. They draw influence from many 90's punk/emo bands such as Samiam, Hot Water Music, Texas Is The Reason and Jawbreaker. Members have gone on to play in Fires of Waco and Headaches.

Critically acclaimed Aussie outfit Screamfeeder have been pumping out their own unique brand of noisy indie-rock since forming in Brisbane, Australia in 1991. Throughout their colourful career, the band has toured with the likes of Sonic Youth, Pavement, and Sleater-Kinney.
