1) VICES are a six piece alternative rock band from the South of England, which unusually contains 3 guitars. They've been around for the last 2 and a half years, though they've been playing music for over the past 10 and their music has been described as a bar brawl between 'The Strokes' and 'The Rolling Stones' They've played such high profile gigs at Camden barfly, Proud Galleries, The Boogaloo and The Louisiana in the UK. They've even rocked the house at The Roxy on Sunset and the infamous Viper Rooms in LA, USA.

Gatherer

Previously named This City Sunrise. A discography of previously released but not commercially made available material is now available at all online digital music retailers Once from Wellington but now relocated to Melbourne. Gatherer is a familiar feeling, delivered with unfamiliar sound. Beautifully haunting melodies, complex rhythms and a wall of sound so huge it's hard to comprehend how only three people can make it. Gatherer dares to be different. Gatherer is your dream girl’s music collection, listening to Converge during the day and Jeff Buckley at night.

Polar Bear Club

Polar Bear Club is an indie rock/hardcore band from Rochester and Syracuse, New York. A demo released in 2005 brought them much attention, and was a precursor to their first EP, The Redder, the Better, released in Summer 2006 on Triple Attack and Luchador Records. The EP contained catchy, pop-punk songs with lots of of opportunities for energetic sing-a-longs, and was found to be a fan and zine favorite throughout the year.

Severin

1) Severin hailed from Washington, DC. and played shows from 1990-1993. Severin releasing four singles; three on Superbad Records, and one on Sub-Pop. In 1992, the band released their only full-length, "Acid To Ashes, Rust to Dust" on Dischord. Characterized by weaving and dueling guitar melodies puncuated by frenetic rhythms, Severin broke genres with urgent pop hooks and dischordant structures.
2) Séverin is a french artist creating synth-style music. Best known for his album Cheesecake.

This Town, A Forest are a 5 piece alternative rock band based in Melbourne, Australia. With a strong mindset that they want to create something they can call their own.
It has been an incredible year & a half learning wise. They have grown as musicians and people throughout the experiences they've had thus far. TTAF have played alongside other great local bands such as House Vs. Hurricane, Forgiven Rival, City Escape, Behind Crimson Eyes and Therefore I Am (USA). Snapping up a fan base as they've gone & getting a foothold on the local music scene.

The Scandal

THE SCANDAL is a three-piece progressive punk band from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. The band is comprised of Nic White, Mat Cocks, and Liam White. 2009 sees THE SCANDAL issue its first vinyl release, the Edges / Seasickness 7". The double-A sided EP sees the band exploring more weighty, measured material. Making a feature of the overlapping and intertwining vocals of all three members, the new songs bring an intensity born of restraint, showcasing just three instruments played rythmically and relentlessly.

Broadway

There are at least three bands with this name: "Broadway(FL) burst back into the scene in 2007 with the release of their self titled EP. Recorded and produced by Lee Dyess (From First to Last,Chasing Victory, Mayday Parade) the cd showcases the many sides of the band. The powerful drums are the backbone to the cd, and the guitars and vocals can only be described as melodic yet intense. The EP is lined with music that goes from a beautiful masterpiece, to a creative and unique destruction in a matter of seconds, all while somehow keeping the focus on the catchy vocals.
