Light Asylum are Shannon Funchess and Bruno Coviello from Brooklyn, New York, USA. They released their first EP "In Tension" in 2010. NOVAkILL

NOVAkILL became an actuality in 1996 when BONES and SiK, who had been running a club night together and performing separately, decided to pool their resources. Before their first album NOVAkILL contributed songs to two local and one German compilation. They also wrote some music for a short film. The first album, HARD TECH for a HARD WORLD, took about 3 years to finish as NOVAkILL took some time off to replace all their instruments with software.

Hocico

Hocico is a Mexican dark electro band. The band was officially formed in Mexico City, Mexico in 1993 by Erk Aicrag (lyrics & vocals) and Racso Agroyam (programming), but both cousins had been making electronic music since they were fifteen years old. The names are anagrams of the real names Erik Garcia and Oscar Mayorga. Their music can be described as dark and aggressive electronica or more specifically as aggrotech. The lyrics are commonly in English, however, they are sometimes in Spanish. Their logo is a six legged spider with an H on its back.

Dead Can Dance

Dead Can Dance is a band formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1981 by Brendan Perry (baritone) together with Simon Monroe and Paul Erikson later to be joined by Lisa Gerrard (contralto). They disbanded in 1998, and temporarily reunited to do a highly successful world tour in 2005 with a view to recording another studio album together. In order to concentrate on their solo careers and due to ongoing personal differences between Perry and Gerrard, the project was, however, put on hiatus.

Voltaire

Voltaire is a name of at least three acts: 1) A mononym of Aurelio Voltaire Hernández (b. 1967, Havana, Cuba), a singer/songwriter whose music has its roots deeply embedded in European folk and also has influences from the gothic scene. He has also been directing commercials and animating short films for ten years, the best known of these are his Hieronymus Bosch-inspired station MTV IDs. Inspired by the films of Ray Harryhausen (Jason and the Argonauts, The 7th Voyage of Sinbad), Voltaire began animating at the age of ten on a super8 camera.

There are at least four bands with this name, one is an ethereal post-dreampop band based in Australia, the second is a Canadian band that plays filk and folk music, the third a 70s funk outfit, and the fourth a jazz / pop unit from Latvia: 1) Dandelion Wine are an ethereal post-dreampop band that while based in Melbourne Australia, inhabit a very different world. A world where the centuries bleed into one another to create a seamless whole.
