Klute

There are two artists using the name "Klute": 1) Tom Withers, aka Klute, has been a fixture on the drum and bass scene for over ten years, lending his creativity to the likes of Hospital Records, 31 Records, Metalheadz and his early stable Certificate 18, responsible for releasing his first two albums, "Casual Bodies" and "Fear of People". He is from London, UK. In 2001, his own Commercial Suicide imprint was borne out of a necessity on Klute's part to control his own releases as well as provide a support network for the ever increasing new generation of like minded producers.

Matt and Kim

Matt & Kim are an alternative punk/dance duo from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2004 by Matt Johnson (guitar/vocals/keyboards) and Kim Schifino (drums/vocals). Their simple, dance style rhythms and energetic performances have gained them a substantial local following and a formidable online presence through social networking and media sites like YouTube and MySpace. The group had sprung from the record label and media group "Iheartcomix", which released their first full-length, self-titled CD in October, 2006.

Artist Type:

Joy Orbison

"Cool" uncles have always gotten kids into all kinds of wonderful mischief, but 22-year-old Peter O'Grady from London , better known as Joy Orbison, was especially blessed—he credits uncle Ray Keith with introducing him to jungle and U.K. garage long before he could ever hit the clubs. At the age of 13 he took up DJing and eventually moved into production, beginning with Fruity Loops-crafted 8-bar grime loops before shifting into headier territory that combined his love of house, disco, and dubstep with the atmospheric fuzz of bands like My Bloody Valentine, Josef K, and The Beach Boys.

Neon Heart

Put away the Laptop, There’s no computer music here! Neon Heart are a five-piece, award-winning, guitar based, original rock band from Sydney. Their point of difference is their stage show; they engage with the audience, aren’t afraid to take chances, and make every gig memorable. It’s hard to be unique when you’re a guitar based rock band in Sydney; it seems every band has the same cookie cutter approach. But Neon Heart have figured out how to break away from the pack with their energetic performances and powerful song writing.

Radio People

From the salty tear-infected circuit boards of Cleveland, Ohio, comes 'Radio People', Sam Goldberg's synthwave commission for the ever-excellent Digitalis imprint. For the latter half of the '00s he's been a part of the same underground noise scene as Emeralds, running his Pizza Night cassette imprint and releasing a handful of rare tapes on Gneiss Things, Wagon and Weird Forest, among others. Radio People is a relatively recent handle he's been using for a trio of now out-of-print cassettes on Pizza Night, and this is the first vinyl product of that chemically imbalanced sound.

Matrix

There are at least eight artists with the name Matrix: 1. Matrix is the pseudonym of London based drum and bass producer and DJ Jamie Quinn. Quinn started his musical career as one half of drum and bass duo Turbosound, who signed to DJ SS's F Project Records label, an offshoot of Formation Records. Their name was changed for them to "International Rudeboys", which while it perhaps didn't suit them as well as they would have liked, nonetheless this brought further success on Formation Records proper.

Artist Type:
