Emerald Vale is a 5-piece Australian Metalcore/Deathcore band. They where founded in 2009 on the gold coast by drummer Grady Hopkins and Guitarist Ryan Valois, soon they started to recruit new members with a second guitarist Cody Waldon, vocalist Zane Keating and finally Toby Adams on bass. In late February 2010 the band released a 5 song demo with which they have begun to build up a solid fan base around south east Queensland. Formed in late 2007, Sydney's Alice Through The Windshield Glass ruthlessly fuse tech-death metal and hardcore, creating a menacing brand of modern death metal. Comprising of their 5 original members, the band have developed a predominantly deathcore sound with a writing style not commonly seen in Australia. Grant Eidintas and Adrian Sahid's guitar riffage have an evident European flair, accompanied by unrelentless waves of blast beats and double kick rhythms by Tim Cetin.

The Plot in You is a metalcore 5-piece originally starting as a side-project of former Before Their Eyes (Rise Records) guitarist/vocalist, Landon Tewers, quickly became his main focus. Forming in Findlay, OH after parting ways with BTE, a solid line-up for the band was formed and work on their debut EP was underway. "Wife Beater" (InVogue Records) was both heavy as well as haunting, where lyrically Tewers gives you a look inside the lives of people he has come into contact with over the years.
The Acacia Strain is a metalcore/hardcore band from Chicopee, Massachusetts, US that formed in 2001. The band have since undergone numerous changes in their lineup. To date, they've released five studio albums, as well as two split albums. The Acacia Strain have said they dislike genre labels and instead describe themselves as "heavy." "You might hear other music that sounds like it, but those bands can't touch what we have. We have heart. We mean it." Lyrically, they base their music on "hatred, nihilism, humanity's dependence on technology, and my complete disgust for existence.
Since their inception in 2004, the Riverside, CA quintet SUICIDE SILENCE have worked feverishly to carve out their own unique niche within the metal scene and in doing so they developed an undeniable buzz with legions of diehard supporters. Their latest album No Time To Bleed, was recorded with acclaimed producer Machine (Lamb Of God). Suicide Silence started in late 2002 as a side project for its members who were all involved in other local bands at the time. Things didn’t get serious, however, until 2004, when the current lineup was solidified.
Akaname is an instrumental post-metal and experimental quartet based in Melbourne, Australia. The band has undergone many transformations in the time since we made the move to Australia.
