The Contortionist
There are two artists called The Contortionist. 1) A progressive deathcore band from Indianapolis: Bottom heavy open chords that resonate strong enough to shake the core of the earth. Skyrocketing bursts of oscillating guitar leads layer an ominous and dark undercurrent of rhythm. While hardcore punk may be the sound that rules the day in The Contortionist hometown of Indianapolis, it is the band’s signature brand of forward thinking heavy metal that has made them stick out as hometown favorites.

Within My Hands are an aggressive Adelaide deathcore band
They were formed in early 2009 with big hopes and through many changes in style and band members, they have become a successful live act in Adelaide, South Australia. Through relentless gigging and non-stop promotion WITHIN MY HANDS strive for national exposure and plan to tour in late 2010 with their EP which is due to be released late August, recording at Complex Studio's in Melbourne. Heaven Shall Burn
Heaven Shall Burn was formed in autumn 1996, under the name 'Consense'. With the recording of their second demo in early 1997 the band changed their name to 'Heaven Shall Burn'. The name is taken from a Marduk album titled "Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered". In an interview with the band at decoymusic.com, the band said: "It’s not that we’re huge Marduk fans, but we liked the name. It sounds a bit provoking and so people ask us again and again for the meaning behind our name. It has been like that since the very beginning.
