Backlash

There are more than one band with the name Backlash. 1) Formed in Lidkoping, Sweden in 1998 by three talented young men, Backlash now (2k6-08) two albums and a few Eps later stands at the frontier of Swedish electronic music. The combination of Niklas' sensitive compositions, Oskar's battering sound engineering and Erik's brute force of singing creates a new hard electronic sound that few others has manage to create. Music in the borderlands of minimalistic techno and electro-pop.

Bitter End

1) Out of San Antonio, Texas, this band plays New York heavy hardcore in the vein of Biohazard and Breakdown. Released their debut ep Mind In Chains on Malfunction Records in 2006, their first full-length, Climate Of Fear on Deathwish in 2007, and a self-titled 7" also on DW in 08 . Something Must Break

Something Has Broken are a hardcore band from Canberra. They sound like pure sadness. As of Summer 2011, Something Must Break have announced they will be writing and recording a 3-way split with hardcore heroes Have Heart and Verse for early release in 2012, entitled "Songs 2 Mosh 2". Both bands however, have recently dropped out of the project, claiming sexual harassment. they have recently announced that they are changing their name, and will soon be called "Joel Nevile & The Something Must Breaks."

In a short two years West Melbourne band Distant Wreck have become an integral part of Melbourne's quickly emerging "new blood". Having joined many of the countries finest bands on stage (Carpathian, Miles Away, Break Even, Hopeless) as well as internationals Shai Hulud and Ruiner; Distant Wreck are now ready to make their presence known as a band who holds their own. Their recently recorded “United Nothings" release is a five track precursor to the bands full length to be recorded in April this year.
