Siblings Julia and Angus Stone come from Newport, Australia. Angus and Julia’s decision to collaborate was taken at the beginning of 2006. Prior to that, both had performed as solo artists at open mic nights but utilised the other as a backing partner. Ultimately they came up with the same idea, “Why don’t we play together? It kind of made a lot of sense”. In terms of composing the material, they write on their own, then work together on structure and harmonies.

Tim has performed as a guitarist/singer for over a decade, both with bands and as a solo act.
With a healthy influence of Folk, Classical, Latin Jazz, Flamenco and Blues Guitar, his current live repertoire consists of an eclectic mix of guitar based music. Tim completed his Bachelor of Music (Jazz guitar) at Monash University, Victoria in 2000.
Since this time he has worked as a classroom music teacher, composer and session musician.
Most recently Tim has been focusing on his solo career as a guitarist; he has performed solo shows in Ecuador, Costa Rica and India.

Delaney Davidson; born northern island of New Zealand, 1972, age 0. Shipped down to Christchurch in a shoe box at 5 months old, after seeing the Rolling Stones play at 2 months old. Voted "Biggest Dreamer" in primary school, until he went to Special Dreamers School. Asked to leave Special Dreamers School after being suspended four times at the ripe old age of 14. Left New Zealand and migrated over the ditch to Australia to fail last year of school. The Kill Devil Hills are a 6 piece country, swampy blues band from Perth, Western Australia. Their 2004 release Heathen Songs was followed in 2006 by The Drought, an album which has been widely praised by local reviews. The multi-award-winning group spent the best part of 2009 completing their third album, ‘Man, You Should Explode’ released nationally in September 2009 through Torn and Frayed/Shock.
