Drowning the Light

Following the split of Australian black metal band Baal Gadrial in 2003, vocalist Azgorh created Drowning the Light. Four demo tapes were recorded and given extremely limited distribution, being given out only to close friends. From 2003 to 2009 Azgorh has recorded 10+ demos, 10 full-length albums (5 of which were released in the same year: 2007) and material for a number of split albums under the Drowning the Light moniker.

Mother Eel

Mother Eel is a metal four piece that formed, firstly as a three piece, in 2004 in the Cold, Dark and Evil, Blue Mountains Australia. The sound has been described as one being gang raped by clowns on smack. They have been well received by audiences with mixed musical tastes and have therefore played at a variety of venues including: Candy's Apartment, Club 77, UWS Kingswood (including the Saturate Festival), The Sandringham Hotel, The Fitzroy Hotel (Windsor), The Oriental Hotel, The Lansdowne, Above the Spanish, The Mandarin Club and The Gearins Hotel.

Make Them Suffer

There are two bands named Make Them Suffer. One is a Dutch band making beatdown hardcore, the other is a symphonic death metal band from Australia. Make Them Suffer are a 5 piece Symphonic Death Metal band from Perth, Western Australia. After completing their line-up in July 2008 Make Them Suffer have since gained a solid fan base amongst the Perth metal community with the release of their 4 track demo. Band Website:

Mock & Toof

Mock & Toof are two London based producers who record for Tiny Sticks (UK), Mule Musiq (Japan) & Dfa Records's Death From Abroad (US) imprint*. They were initially noticed with their remix for The Juan MacLean, which was quickly followed up by their re-edit of Madonna's Lycra Virgin. Following more remixes for the likes of Hot Chip, The Scissor Sisters & Maps, Mock & Toof strengthened their position with widely acclaimed singles for Tiny Sticks (Black Jub), Mule Musiq (Zomby) & Rvng Intl (Digits).

Astriaal

Astriaal is a black metal band from Brisbane, Australia. The band formed in the winter of 1998 as a three piece with Baaruhl on both vocals and guitar. Astriaal released their debut demo 'Glories of the Nightsky' in October 1998 with Baaruhl playing both bass and guitar. Since the addition of bass player Murtach in 1999, Astriaal's line-up has remained solid. The band's first live show was as support to Nazxul in November 1998.

Guild of Destruction

Guild Of Destruction are a four piece band comprising one guitar, bass, drummer and vocalist - loud enough that they are constantly taken for a five or six piece. Born in Melbourne’s western suburbs the band has released a demo – Welcome to the guild an E.P. – Cursed and being commercially released through Grindhead Records in March of 2007 their first album Into Oblivion recorded and mastered at Melbourne Records by Ren “the shark-lady killer” and Adam “Adambomb”.

Thrall

There is more than one band named Thrall. 1. Formed in 1995 from the twisted wreckage that was the God Bullies comes Thrall to forge a more perfect union. Thrall create a soundtrack filled with apocalyptic images, diseased minds and bizarre characters living out classic struggles of power, paranoia, madness and rage. Mike Hard, former frontman for the infamous God Bullies and Hand Over Head, originally formed Thrall with Karen Neal on bass (Inside Out) (not in current line-up), drummer Scott Kodrik (Hand Over Head)...
