Dirtyphonics

Dirtyphonics’ s new release, “French Fuck”, with “Bonus Level” is about to be unleashed on Shimon’s AudioPorn Records. “French Fuck” and “Bonus Level” have been on dance floors around the globe. Meanwhile, the Dirtyphonics crew have been locked in the studio making a string of hard hitting drum and bass tracks, teaming up with Mc Tali for "The Secret” and working on a remix of Shimon’s, “The Shadow Knows”. Another huge Dirtyphonics’ track, “Get Dirty”’, appeared on “Roots & Future” Dope Ammo Camp’s album, earlier in 2008.

Hercules and Love Affair

Hercules and Love Affair is a musical project from New York formed in 2007 by DJ Andy Butler. From 2007 through 2010, members included Nomi Ruiz, Kim Ann Foxman and guest singer Antony Hegarty from the band Antony and the Johnsons. They are signed to DFA Records. Their single "Blind" was released on March 3rd, 2008, and their debut self-titled album (produced by Butler and Tim Goldsworthy) was released on March 10th, 2008. The album has been critically well-received and charted in the top 40 in several countries.

The Rapture

There are two bands sharing the name Rapture:
1. An American dance-punk group
2. A common mistake for a finnish death/doom band actually called "Rapture". 1)The Rapture are an American rock band formed in San Francisco. The band mixes influences of post-punk, dance-punk, acid house, disco, electronica, and more. The Rapture formed in 1998 by drummer Vito Roccoforte and guitarist/vocalist Luke Jenner. After relocating to New York, the original bassist left and was replaced by Matt Safer.

LCD Soundsystem

LCD Soundsystem is the musical side project of producer James Murphy, co-founder of New York City dance-punk label DFA Records. Formed in 2002, the music of LCD Soundsystem can also be described as a mix of alternative dance and post punk, along with elements of disco and other styles. During live performances, Murphy is accompanied by Al Doyle (guitar, percussion -- also of Hot Chip),Tyler Pope (!!! / Out Hud) (bass), Nancy Whang (keyboards) and Pat Mahoney (drums) Previous members include Phil Mossman (guitar, percussion) and Phil Skarich (bass) .

As cited last summer in the UK dance floor bible; Mixmag, his universally embraced single on Bedrock Records Stoppage Time became the stand out anthem of the year at the likes of Cocoon at Amnesia, and Dc10 in Ibiza along with Secretsundaze in London.

The Japanese Popstars

The Japanese Popstars are an electro dance act from Derry, Northern Ireland. The group were formed after a number of drunken nights talking about the idea. Finally, after attending a number of big music festivals, such as Oxegen and Glastonbury, they were inspired to create their own music. Each DJ has his own alias. Deadboy

There is more than one artist called "Deadboy" Based in London, Deadboy is an underground Dj and producer. His sound is part of the new "UK Funky" movement, with the goal of reviving the 2-step scene, which died out in the early 2000s. Reminiscent of the sound of 2-step UK Garage, Deadboy incorporates R&B vocals into his songs which are fresh along with elements of funky house. Piotr Figiel known as DCM, student at Applied Computer Science and Acoustic Engineering at AGH university is a music passionate, dj and producer from Poland. Developing his musical interests, he appeared to the audience in parallel, records mixing and music production. As a dj he has been playing gigs from 2005 and two years later he debuted as a producer by signing and releasing the "It's Alive!! EP".

The Human League

The Human League are an English synthpop band formed in 1977. Originally a minimal post-punk synthesiser-based group from Sheffield, UK, they became one of the most successful new wave acts of the 80s. The only consistent band member is vocalist and songwriter Phil Oakey. The band's best known configuration was their 1980-1985 lineup of Phillip Oakey (vocals), Joanne Catherall (vocals), Susanne Sulley (vocals), Phillip Adrian Wright (keyboards), Jo Callis (guitar, keyboards) and Ian Burden (bass).
